Great Bread Pudding.

My wife and I were in Skagway for a day trip and decided to try this for dinner. We had the chips and salsa for an appetizer. The chips were ok, but the salsa was excellent! The sandwiches were good. But the best was desert. My wife loves bread pudding, and this was the best she ever has had.

Food in Alaska can be hit or miss at times and often depends on when the last barge arrived, how fresh was the produce, and whether the restaurant staff got there before the other establishments in town picked over the latest shipment. Olivia's, however, id not suffer from these idiosyncrasies. During my stay in Skagway, I ate dinner twice and... More

My girlfriend and I spent a season in Alaska working with a cruise company and had our eye on Olivia's for a long time and had been looking forward to visiting. The restaurant itself is very charming and we got a lovely private table by the window. I love that fact they grow a lot of the ingredients in the... More

We came in on a cruise ship and walked into town, so assume that it isn't a year 'round venue. But Olivia is one of those personalities who knows how to be friendly, spirited, helpful, but does not overwhelm you. You feel more as if you were a regular who just dropped in for a meal. She pours a good... More

Everything we had was delicious. Puff pastry figures in several places in the menu - well done every time. The vegetarian chili was just right to warm up after a chilly bike ride.

The day we were there it was very busy and they were without one of their cooks. They were doing their best but the wait after ordering was long. Fortunately the food was worth it. We would go back again. It was the best option in town and certainly better than yet another meal on the boat.

My husband and I tried this restaurant one evening just because it looked cozy and quiet (unlike many of the loud pub style restaurants on the main strip). It is small with modern, understated decor. It was the best restaurant we tried in the 14 day tour of Alaska and the Yukon. We liked it so much that we told... More

Very pretty, they have a garden out back that they get a lot of their ingredients from. Food was good, service was great.

We had a very good time. The owners daughter waited on us an did a great job. She was very personable and gave us options and suggestions that fit our tastes. I had the halibut tacos which were very good, with colored chips and salsa. The tacos were very good, I added a little hot sauce for my own tastes.... More
