We sat amongst the locals at lunchtime on 2 occasions, Lots of atmosphere, great food, next to us they were having oysters, steak tartare and champagne and we had jambon omlettes, no difference in the highly accomplished and personal service, they joked about my french, i joked about their english. Just a great experience of bistro/restaurant eating, lovely authentic interior... More

Happened across this restaurant right alongside the carpark under the viaduct in the center of town. Pleasant ambiance, prompt friendly service and the food...Superb ! I had Rognons de veau in a calvados sauce .... I could have had just a bowl of the sauce! Tasty and warming on a cool day. My wife had the fish of the day... More

Off the ferry as dawn lifts.straight down to the main drag in Morlaix to find a cash point. Surprising amount of fevered activity along the carp parking area both sides of the viaduct where a very large fairground I'd being set up for the weekend. Little local work or shopping traffic at this time but the lights are on here... More

What an excellent way to spend our last night in France. Great food, great service and a really nice ambience. It is a lovely proper French place with a real mix of clients and a simple but good menu. We had care vetted with garlic, super! And I had fish of the day, he had confit of duck, both were... More

Stopped for a mid morning Coffee - sat under the canopy & watched the world go by. This is like turning back time classic style & service to match.

Ok, we're biased, but every time we travel on the ferry via Roscoff we make an effort to call in here. It's a lovely understated building in a great position on the square in a lovely and typical French town. The coffees, food and service are not overwhelming but they are everything you would want; good quality, tasty, plentiful, and... More

We recently made a visit this Brittany town and stopped by this cafe which had a number of mostly locals sitting outside in the sun. Inside ...in the heavily mirrored & old ...art deco interior ....was all quiet....with no customers. We ordered our meals and sat outside....I had an omelette while my partner had a meat speciality dish...both of which... More

This brasserie, just opposite the Town Hall is in pole position and right next to the weekly Saturday market, The food is well prepared and tastey, Good value too.
