Good food great wine great service but too expensive

It's our second time in this restaurant. It's the best place in the region however it's too expensive.

We had a superb lunch today at the charming Le Ville Blanche. As Americans without much French, we needed help with the menu. The hostess (owner?) who greeted and seated us could not have been more welcoming and helpful in translating. The menu is (naturally) seafood oriented. I had a fantastic crab starter and both my husband and I had... More

We dine at La Ville Blanche every time we are in Bretagne, France, and have been doing so for at least 14 years. The food is nothing short of outstanding. The menu always changes, and for the better. Nicole, the chef-owner's wife, speaks English, greets us almost as old friends, and it always helpful with the new menu items. I... More

Returned once again. Keep saying it can't get any better but it does unless it stands out as being so much better than others one tires of comparing. Service, wine and quality was all suberb

We have just been there and it is probably the best memory of our holidays in Bretagne! The dishes are not only beautifully dressed, they are tastefull and very well served. We had one bottle of white wine with our menu, nobody insisted that we had more. Service, however, is a bit too slow at the end, but everyone is... More

Although not exactly central to Lannion, La Ville Blanche is French cuisine at its best. It is more expensive that your usual fare but what you get for your money makes it well worth it. You're better having one meal there rather than three average meals anywhere else. The decorum inside is very nice without being overkill. We had two... More

If you have something to celebrate and you happen to be in the area between Treguier and Lannion then this is the place. Nothing spectacular from the outside but......entering....it's a Wow. The atmosphere is familiar without any pose for such a great restaurant. The food is wonderful, prepared with such love, the wine is great and taking the degustation menu... More

There are few restaurants where a guest is treated so well. I don't just mean smooth service, but real effort to make your meal a pleasant experience. Taking time to chat to guests about more than the food order. Inviting guests to the covered terrace to finish their meal with a hot drink and petit fours in a very relaxed... More

On a fluke we stopped in this lovely restaurant on our way to Lannion for the day and were lucky enough to score a 7:30 reservation for that night. Wow! From the kind understanding of our lack of French, the wine and food course suggestions, and the complete ultra professional and unpretentious service the entire staff couldn't have been better.... The dinner was superb, we preferred "gourmet menu" with double starter, double main course, double dessert, the menu price was around 50EUR pp. excl wines. The wine selection was also wonderful, you can get wines by glass also. The total bill was around 420EUR for 5 pers. incl. champagne, wines, coffee and nice tip at the very end which is... More
