Good date night spot

We've come here several times over the years and the food is always good. It's a little pricey for me so I like to save it for a date night place. We do come here sometimes after dinner and just have dessert and drinks. They have great chocolate fondue and dessert drinks that's not too pricey. Call... read more

A friend and I went to The Melting Pot to celebrate my birthday. I decided to go because I hadn't been to a fondue restaurant for some years and wanted to give one another try. In addition, I had been here before but years ago and enjoyed the meal. I loved last night's experience very much. Starting with the Mountain... More

This was our first dinner here and it was beyond great. The fondue was excellent and the wait staff was well trained. They explain everything to you and don't rush you like some places. Definitely make reservations because this place is busy. There were just two of us and our meal came to $88. Be prepared for stocker shock but... More

We had reservations for our family of four as soon as it opened on Christmas Day. We were seated fairly quickly and the server was incredibly nice. Our children are 10 & 11 and we weren't sure if they'd enjoy the meal. Our server helped offering suggestions and we opted for the 4 course meal at nearly $40 a person,... More

My 3 star review is rather mixed. We've gone here for years and at that time would have been 4 stars. After last night, the 3 stars is being REALLY generous, PROFOUNDLY GENEROUS. So, I gave it 3 stars because of previous experiences. This is usually a fun place to go that is unique and allows for great interaction for... More

OK, it was Christmas day, and very little in the way of moderately priced dining was available. We had a reservation, but when we entered there was no one to great our party of 4. We waited about 5 minutes for a warm body to show up. We finally made it to a table -4 senior citizens on a moderate... More

Upon entering the Melting Pot in Kennesaw, GA at 6:32pm 12/13/14 my family and I (4 of us total) were not greeted. Instead the lady at the desk said very abruptly "do you have a reservation?" I told her my name and the time we had a reservation and she noted that we would have to wait closer to 7pm... More

I wanted to try something new and since it was our 6th Anniversary I decided to go to the Melting Pot since the traditional gift was "iron." I thought it was pretty smart don't judge. I was having a hard time of coming up with gifts that contained iron. So back to the restaurant. I made reservations for a weeknight.... More

My wife and I have been fans of the Melting Pot for several years and frequented the one in Chattanooga. Since it closed, Kennesaw is the closest. In town for a graduation, I booked a table through OpenTable and we were seated promptly. The cheese was great. The salads were crisp and well prepared. The classic combination entree seemed to...
