Trackside Grill is a lovely, locally owned restaurant offering Southern Cuisine with a more modern interpretation of old favorites. Located right in the midst of old downtown Kennesaw, immediately adjacent to the train tracks which are still very active! It is very common to observe freight trains zipping by. The food is always prepared well, served at the appropriate temperature... More

This place is located right in downtown Kennesaw and doesn't seat a lot of people, but it is worth the wait. The food is delicious, the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu, and they work with you to make sure you have a great dining experience.

Visiting family in area and ate there one night. Fried green tomatoes impressed. While the breading was a bit much, the sauce was outstanding. Only thing that could make them better would be to use a beer batter instead of corn meal. The greatest value on the menu is the chicken pot pie. You simply do not find this quality... More

Quirky downtown Kennesaw. Love it. Cool restaurant literally trackside. Neat menu. Clean. Reasonably priced. Salads to entrees. Very professional. A break from the chain restaurants.

A pleasant experience: helpful staff, a menu with great choices (chicken pot pie, turkey dinner, fried chicken - plus other non-comfort-food items). Definitely worth the visit.

Trackside can always be counted on for a fantastic brunch on Sundays. Or a delicious meal during the week. They have a southern cuisine type menu. The fried green tomatoes are a must!

Over the last decade, I have eaten here a number of times on business lunches and will undoubtedly return in the future. The décor is casual but not too casual for business and I have always found the service to be reasonable with good food that is well prepared. If you like chicken pot pie with a good crust, I... My husband and I have lived in Kennesaw for 5 years and Trackside Grill was the first restaurant we visited that felt like "home." We're both from small towns, so chain restaurants were never our thing, but it's hard to find restaurants like this in suburbia. Not only is the food amazing (gourmet southern food), but the servers are always... More

I when to Trackside for the first time for my birthday with my husband. I had the chicken pot pie that was very good and my husband ordered the burger, again very good, not great. The thing that made me unhappy with the restaurant was the so-so service. There were two at our table and we were treated as an... More

This is a nice little gem in downtown Kennesaw (actually, it's the only gem in downtown Kennesaw)! The lower level is very quaint with some nice lounge-style seating by the bar. The upper level is covered but open, with a nice stone fireplace. If you sit up there, just be aware of the really loud train horns that you may... More
