Not bad.

The Almond crusted Alaskan Cod is a little bland, as well as the yams that come with it. The spicy Halibut is VERY spicy. It was to the point that it wasn't enjoyable. The cooked vegetables that come with both of them though, are out of this world. The price for the portion was a little... read more

They just opened for the season when we dined there. Great service. Can't remember his name but he had red hair, great sense of humor and gave great service. I had rockfish which was great. My partner had king crab legs. Done to perfection. Prices were reasonable. I would go back again if I am in the area.

Gerald, thank you for your review. I'm not sure if you reviewed the correct place though. We have been open all winter. Maybe you meant to review the restaurant next door to us? Regardless, thanks for visiting Seward and hope you enjoyed your time here! More

The place is reviewed as well as it is not just because the waterfront view is breathtaking but because the food is equally as good. You won't be wasting your time or money stopping by here to eat. It might not be the cheapest place in town but its well worth it. The food is fresh and prepared wonderfully.

Having lived in Alaska for several years, we love doing getaway trips to re-discover Seward, including places like Chinook. Step in the front door, and you immediately want to stay, just to grab a table and look out at the harbor. As other reviewers point out, the ambiance is warm, servers friendly, like you've been part of their community for... More

Visited on a beautiful April evening. Came in for drinks and dinner. The beer selection had 10 or so Alaskan beers and you could opt for a flight, which I did. We selected a table next to the large windows which overlooked the boat harbor and a background of snow capped mountains. We started with the risotto balls and they... More

This place was amazing! First of all your greeted by a gorgeous view of the harbor, with the mountains as a backdrop. The refreshing flavored water is delicious! I tried one with cucumber and my husband the ginger. My husband had the Halibut BLT and found it to be outstanding (crisp perfectly cooked Halibut and the combination of bacon and... More

The staff was very attentive and fast. We had a delicious meal, I had the halibut it was perfectly cocked and even the kids Mac and cheese was homemade and delicious (and they had the option of fruit as a side for the kiddos which was great). Loved this place will definite go back. Nice views of the harbor too.

We loved the food (what beats good, fresh seafood?), the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting - not to mention the gorgeous view. Can't wait to go back!

On the water this place had a nice feel to it. Friendly staff took the time for a chat and offered ideas to explore Seward. Food had nice flavours and a variety of beers for all tastes.

Lots of windows overlooking the marina. Was recommended by the bartender at the Yukon Bar. Lots of fresh fish and nice selection of Alaska brews. Food was great, modern cuisine done well.
