Had sable fish. Never had it before. Pretty basic tasteless white fish. Caesar salad was NOT a Caesar salad. Can't really describe the minimalist dressing. Had to ask for bread. Nice setting.

Eat at lunch. (Lunch menu until 4) Portions are generous. Service attentive. I ordered the smoked scallop Mac and cheese. The scallops melted in your mouth, the smoky cheese sauce used with the pasta was the best I've ever had. My husband had halibut salad. Pan seared to perfection atop a bed of spinach salad with pistachios, orzo, and bacon.... More

Our family of four found this restaurant to be a disappointment. Although the view is fantastic, the food is not. We ordered a kids fish and chips and out came a piece of fish that was about 2 inches by one inch on top of a bed, 3 inches high, of fries. Our child was still hungry for more fish... More

Really enjoyed dinner at Chinooks. Ate a halibut dinner while watching boats come in and fish being weighed and cut-up.

My husband and I were very disappointed with the quality of food in Seward, and finally tried this. It was the best meal we had by far, and the best service, too. The portions were small and pretty expensive, but it was definitely very good.

Be careful what you order as there are items on the menu that have VERY small portions for the cost. Do not order any of the sides or extras or the appetizers. The halibut main course had great flavor and was of course fresh.

Stopped by after bird watching. Though not peak lunch hours our server was busy and delayed in greeting and serving us. Nice guy though. I ordered a king crab sandwich which did not live up to my expectations. There was some seasoning I just didn't care for. I'd prefer a lightly dressed crab for more crab flavor. My salad was... More

Chinooks serves good seafood, but there are some decent options for vegetarians as well. A good place to dine after a long day...

I had the grilled salmon with BBQ sweet sauce and it was very tasty. Service was excellent and a pleasant atmosphere. Looking out onto the harbor is a bonus.
