I think we visited Seward at a fortunate time when there weren't a ton of cruise passengers visiting. Having been on the train that got stuck due to falling boulders, we're thinking that those few days the train didn't operate cost Seward a lot of business. On top of that it was very, very rainy. The food here was fine and the prices were reasonable. However, the service was horrible. Before the restaurant got full, the service wasn't great. Then the restaurant filled up and the service got even worse. They had too few servers for the size of the tables. They ran out of glasses so people had to wait 10 minutes or more... more
