We ate there for lunch recently and I ordered a chicken salad that was less than appetizing for the amount I paid for it. Have had great food there in the past, but I was disappointed in the food quality this time. I would recomend others to choose other food dishes besides the chicken salad based on recent experience. more

We ate there two times, we had dinner on our first night at Seward, and we had lunch there the day we were visiting the Sealife Museum, as the cafeteria was close. The place is very big and nice, with a very beautiful bar. Service is pretty good, even though we had to wait quite a lot the day we... more

We had no complaints about Christo's. We were there on a night when it seemed relatively crowded. Nice restaurant, casual atmosphere, great pizza, reasonable prices. more

we ate dinner on a Tuesday night after labor day, so the restaurant was far from empty. i ordered pizza; my friend ordered seafood alfredo. it did take quite a while, considering only 5 other tables were seated. Must be the pizza. Which means they really, truly, are making it fresh, and the taste proves it! Our food was delicious--worth... more

We only went in becuse we had a coupon from the Northern Lights book. -had to wait a long time before anyone acknowldeged us or brought menus -chairs looked dirty -at least one piece of silverware had dried food on it, causing my teenage daugther to be totally grossed out -the waiter was a nice kid, but fairly clueless. the... more

I think we visited Seward at a fortunate time when there weren't a ton of cruise passengers visiting. Having been on the train that got stuck due to falling boulders, we're thinking that those few days the train didn't operate cost Seward a lot of business. On top of that it was very, very rainy. Anyway, Christo's came highly recommended... more

Ate here twice on our recent stay in Seward, mainly because the quality of the food/service was good on the first visit. The place was fairly empty the first night, and service was quick and responsive. Our shared pizza was really tasty - washed down with the local IPA made it even better. The second night, the place was crowded,... more

The food here was fine and the prices were reasonable. However, the service was horrible. Before the restaurant got full, the service wasn't great. Then the restaurant filled up and the service got even worse. They had too few servers for the size of the tables. They ran out of glasses so people had to wait 10 minutes or more... more

We ate dinner at Christo's Palace one night in June 2009. We got the Greek Style pizza. It was tasty, but at $22.95 for a 14" pizza (TWICE the price of a 14" specialty pizza at home), it is definitely pretty pricy. However, it's not too terrible of a deal at Alaska prices if split between two people. The entree... more
