A good choice of wine, menu with Alaskan seafood , pleasant dining-room, good attentive service. The sun sets after 10pm in August so we could also enjoy the nice view from the dining-room

We had a fantastic halibut dinner outside overlooking the mountain across the road. Excellent service and food.

The food was very average and for the quality I would have to say there was no value. I will give them one thing, the views are spectacular. Nothing special about the dining area or the wait staff. I'd suggest taking a table on the deck and just having some drinks.

This is a must do stop for all travelers from the lower 48. The Roadhouse sits on beautiful spot surrounded by mountains and flowers. For Alaska it's modern, clean, contemporary with great artwork . I visited with a large group, service was great and the food was terrific. They have a varied menu from seafood to a great steak and... More

We stayed at the Windsong but only had breakfast at the Roadhouse given all the other eating options in Seward. Breakfast was good, but nothing really special. The best thing about eating at the Roadhouse is the view. I would not recommend a special trip just to eat at the Roadhouse, but if you go to the Exit Glacier (which... More

We had a terrific lunch here -- easily one of our best meals in Seward-- after visiting the Exit Glacier. The surroundings are jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the food is great. Excellent, fresh tasting salad with salmon, and outstanding burger.

We stayed at Windsong lodge and ate at several local restaurants while there but one day we were in a rush to get going (hike at Exit Glacier - highly recommended) and decided the buffet at the Resurrection Roadhouse would be quick. Bad choice. When we walked in there were 2 staff at the hostess station and 1 customer but... More

Dear Syster. Thank you for taking the time to write about your dining experience. We value all the comments posted, both the good and not so good. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed. Your comments of having to wait to be seated in a slow restaurant, poor buffet food and waiting to settle the check would frustrate anyone.... More

I was really expecting something more... The food was fine, not outstanding. The environment was ok - nothing unique. I wold have skipped this place if I had known.

Stopped here for breakfast before going exploring up near Exit Glacier, since it's on the way. Beautiful views out the big picture windows make dining there very enjoyable. The food was good, nicely presented and plenty of it. It was very quiet in the restaurant. I think I was the only one there for a late breakfast. Server was attentive,... More
