On the very rainy day we arrived in Seward via train from Anchorage, we walked the several blocks from the excellent Best Western to the dock area and stumbled onto Ray's Waterfront. Randomly picked it from several waterfront restaurants and were not disappointed. Halibut and sides were both excellent and the price was reasonable.

We had a nice dinner here overlooking the water. The salmon at Ray's was perfectly prepared, unlike at other places where we ate. Service was excellence. We even left our camera on the table and didn't miss it until we were back in Anchorage. The restaurant staff and manager worked with us and mailed the camera to our home. Great... More

We ate here twice during our 4-night stay in Seward and enjoyed our dinner on both occasions. Ray's is a cheerful, busy, food-and-drink focused place with good beer and a reasonable choice of wine at fair prices. Crispy razor clams, planked wild salmon share the list with Thai seafood, pork loin or chopped beef salad. Save a spot for the... More

Very pricey, but wonderful ambience, nice view of the harbor, excellent service, and delicious food. Well worth the money when compared to other meals in the area.

Since we were staying at the Holiday Inn, we decided to walk over to Ray's. We got there kind of late for us, maybe 7pm, and there was a 30-35 minute wait. We put our name on the list and sat down to wait. There was a steady stream of people coming in and the wait never seemed to exceed... More

We came here after an entire day of fishing and got some beers and crab cakes. They were the best crab cakes I have ever had!

Good but pricey meal. The view is worth it though, more or less out on the dock. Service was good. Lots of menu choices.

Halibut was to die for, Tasty Oysters, Alaskan King Crab Legs not so much. Wonderful view of the harbor framed by snow capped mountains.

Our server was prompt, efficient, and courteous. My wife and I found the food to be average at best.

Wonderful menu. A good price performer! Enough options to satisfy a ten-year-old palate! Good selection of fresh AK seafood! Yum!
