Had fast service, was busy inside, so was not able to interact with the staff too much. We had expresso and ordered the meat quiche. Order the quiche. OMG. So good! They offer veggie and meat. Huge portions and tasted great. Would go back for sure!

I like this bakery, but they used to have apple fritters to die for. I settled for bread pudding, and later for an apple turnover. They were great, but not like the apple fritters of the past.

The food was great and there was a wide variety to choose from. What impressed me most, as a New Yorker visiting Alaska, was how friendly the staff was, they were willing to chat and offer advice about the area, fishing, etc. that turned out to be spot on. This little bakery actually added to our overall experience. Glad we... More

Beware! Allow a lot EXTRA time, very very slow service. It seems like everyone working there is stuck in first gear. I guess when your the only game in town at 5:00 am, you can do what you want. It seems the attitude there is you need them more then they need you. Their doing you a favor at that... More

Early morning spot if you're going fishing, we enjoyed a great cup of coffee while waiting for our breakfast sandwiches and lunch to go. Breakfast sandwiches had biscuit, egg, cheese and sausage. Very good. Lunch we ordered ham and cheese on whole wheat, roast beef and swiss and rye. Both came with chips, good size sandwiches. Just what we needed... More

Portions are large regardless if cinnamon roll or chocolate chip cookie, but service is extremely slow, and employees don't seem to want to be there. Lots of fisherman hit here early for bagged lunches, so plan on a long line from 5:00 to 6:00. Chocolate chip cookies are to die for, so suck it up with the service and enjoy... More

We'd been instructed to meet here by the company doing our wildlife/glacier excursion, so we had breakfast here as well. I had a raspberry muffin; husband had a cinnamon roll. My muffin was quite good, nice and moist. Husband said his cinnamon roll was stale and tasted like it had been out for a couple days. The wildlife/glacier excursion was... More

And if they're out, get the oatmeal raisin. They are YUM! Pass on the peanut butter, though - they are soft but not super flavorful.

I got a breakfast "wrap" which is more like a breakfast taco. It was rather bland. My son got a cinnamon roll that was ok. Hot chocolate was also ok. Service was slow. Took them 10min to even acknowledge we were there and they never pointed out the menus to me...I just happened to find it on the counter. I... More

Picked up some baked items to go w/ our tea/coffee for breakfast. I had half a blueberry muffin that had no flavor. It was dry w/ small tasteless blueberries and texture of a poorly baked cake instead of a real homemade muffin. Yuck! I moved on to taste the mango scone. Again, texture of a dry, poorly baked cake. Think... More
