My wife and I had breakfast there. Food and coffee was ok. The lady running the registrar was kind of rude. I would try Sea Beans across the street. Great coffee and breakfast with a good atmosphere.

A very eclectic gift shop with one of a kind Alaska art pieces....The bakery is delicious but limited in it's variety. Definitely worth stopping!

We were surprised how small the coffee shop part of the bakery was with only 4 / 5 tables as most of the shop floor is taken up by a gift shop. First impression is that the bakery / coffee shop is an after thought, however, the food is scrummy yummy. We had hot chocolate, latte, and 'peaches & cream'... More

Fantastic treats and coffee in the bakery. Nice jewelry, two lines of fun clothing with great designs and other unique items makes this shop a perfect stop for gifts. Fantastic selection of Ray Troll T-shirts.

We stopped here for a little sweet treat and were pleasantly surprised. My husband had the cherry scone and I had lavender rosemary shortbread. It's a cute little place with a nice gift shop and good coffee. I would stop again.

This was fine, and about the best bakery we found in Seward. Stopped in for a quick breakfast on the way out to the glacier. We had a turnover and a cinnamon roll. Both were fine, but we wouldn't rave about them. Really did like the local vibe of the place, though, and the gift store in front is worth... More

We had breakfast here before our cruise and it was very good. Excellent Blueberry muffin and my kids enjoyed their French toast. We had also ordered box lunches to take on the boat with us the night before and they had them packed and ready to go.

Good coffee, and tasty pastries. I wouldn't get the cinnamon bun, though, as it's too gooey. The rest of the pastries and the quiches were excellent.

Great bakery, different pastries and quiche everyday. Spinach and feta, mushroom Gorgonzola, sweets, and best of all, the coffee is never a disappointment. This is the best bakery in Seward and don't forget the cookies! Lemon shortbread, peanut butter and killer brownies. Nice seating area, great staff, and excellent art and local items for sale. Don't waste your time at... More

I can't help but get a little nervous when we travel because I never know when or where I am going to be able to find good gluten-free food, but the Ranting Raven was a pleasant surprise. The guy behind the counter said they rotate every other day between scones and muffins. The day I went they had GF Carrot... More
