I grew up eating Chinese food in New York's Chinatown. While the service here is great, unfortunately, the food is not. The vegetable stir fry had a ton of sugar and corn starch. I had to rub the sauce off on the rice. The chicken and broccoli was too sweet with a ton of starch as well. I wish I... More

My husband and I stopped here after having gotten turned around in this small town and thinking that this was one of the only restaurants to eat. Wrong! Keep driving and don't stop here. The buffet lunch had poor choices and was not good at all. We paid the 9.95 for each of our meals but it wasn't worth it.... More

The food was nothing to rave about, although I'm starting to realize that is ALL of the food in seward. I had the shrimp in garlic, and the shrimp tasted quite funny--like the were bought frozen in a store. But the sauce was very good. Service was okay. Overall, not bad for cheap price.

We wanted a nice lunch without spending a fortune. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were their first customers of day. All four of us had the 9.95 buffet. I have had some pretty bad oriental buffets before so my expectations were not that high, but this one was one of the better ones. The waiter was fun. He entertained... More

I stopped in out of interest. Price is right. However, as a tourist, I visit Seward for Crab, Oysters, Salmon, and Halibut. Sorry, I am just not in the food mood for Chinese.

I have eaten here every trip to Seward for years. We were a little hesitant this time because it was dinner time and no cars. We went anyway and SO glad we did! The food is fresh and well prepared and quite tasty. The prices are very low for AK. A lot of food for your buck! The waiter, brother... More

In Seward for one night, two days. This restaurant was close to our hotel, Best Western, in walking distance. Food was great. Not too many people eating there. Only one other table. The waiter did his "magic tricks", origami, spinning trays, & fixed our chop sticks so we could use them a little easier. We went for dinner and there... More

After hiking and touring in Seward, we found delicious Asian food, large portions at moderate prices at Oriental Gardens. During tourist season, it is particularly challenging to eat a satisfying meal at a good value. The owner was very gracious and entertained us by making different origami animals and the Starship Enterprise, which he gave us to take home. It... More

Seward has many restaurants and mostly all of them will cost at least $45-50 for two people to eat. Oriental Garden had cheaper prices, good food, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. When I come into town again I will definitely be coming back here.

Its local family owned, I like the food and the service has always been very attentive, but with two guys running the place it is definitely missing a lot of detailing. Off times should always be spent doing those extra cleaning jobs in this place is certainly lacking that. Upon closer inspection this restaurant is so filthy I just don't... More
