This place is a nice bar with a good hometown feel. Coming from Wisconsin, I know bars and this place is great. Good people, good vibe, good food, good entertainment and everyone is made to feel welcome. I always try to hit places where the locals hangout when I travel and this place is always packed, even when ther isn't... More

This place is pretty cool, with hundreds of dollars pinned everywhere, Great live music and a good local vibe. It also has that throwback thing going that a lot of Alaska has - I mean, I heard some odd 80's tunes numerous times in Alaska that I hadn't heard in awhile. Here, what did it for me was the large... The band was great and people friendly. We felt like we fit right in. Can't say enough good things about the Yukon Bar.

My wife and I stopped at Yukon Bar for a drink before dinner. The bartender was very helpful and courteous. We had a local beer and played some pool. Great bar!!

Fun local dive bar for a drink- floor to ceiling covered with stuff. Local hangout- we were the only tourists.

Great place to hang out downtown Seward! Such a dive bar! It was karaoke night the night we were there and it was packed wall to wall with a lot of people having fun! Good drinks, good shots! Fun, fun! Everyone felt welcomed.

First off, you can't go wrong visiting Seward Alaska. It's my favorite city on earth! Yukon bar gives you a vintage, laid back feel with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. The blue grass band, Blackwater Railroad, was perfect for the atmosphere and one of the best bluegrass bands I ever seen live! The locals were so friendly-we immediately felt... More

Had a very spicy bloody mary in this "divey" looking bar. Juke box playing, a few obvious drunks in mid afternoon, folks weaving about a pool table. It does feel like you have joined "the locals" for a drink! Very casual, very friendly.

Normally, when we go to this part of Seward on the other 364 days of the year, it's like a forest of drunks. They're all out on the sidewalk, trying to smoke, and figure out the next bar to go raise cain in. But since Hobo Jim was here for two hours, thought we'd give it a try. Cash only,... More

It's a fun place where the locals and tourist go. There are some real Alaskan characters in there. The bar tender pours a very good Jack and Coke.
