Had a very spicy bloody mary in this "divey" looking bar. Juke box playing, a few obvious drunks in mid afternoon, folks weaving about a pool table. It does feel like you have joined "the locals" for a drink! Very casual, very friendly.

Normally, when we go to this part of Seward on the other 364 days of the year, it's like a forest of drunks. They're all out on the sidewalk, trying to smoke, and figure out the next bar to go raise cain in. But since Hobo Jim was here for two hours, thought we'd give it a try. Cash only,... More

It's a fun place where the locals and tourist go. There are some real Alaskan characters in there. The bar tender pours a very good Jack and Coke.

Stopped in for a drink and they had a good beer selection, cool atmosphere, and interesting people. Only downfall is that it is a smoking bar...

As soon as I saw the Yukon I knew it was what we were looking for. A local's place to have drink. Nice selection of Alaskan brews on tap. Good luck finding a spot to add your dollar to all those adorning the walls & ceiling.

What can I say about the Yukon that hasn't already been said. If your looking for a seedy dive bar with loads of personality this is it. Please realize the clientele is 97% "out of state people". Most work the tourist season. So it really isn't a authentic trashy Alaskan dive bar. I first came here back in late 80s... More

This is our kind of dive bar. The drink prices were low, the beer and liquor selection was great, and the bartenders were very nice. Patrons and bartenders alike gave us out-of-towners good information on where to fish, which places to get food, and what to see. While we dont smoke and hate smokey bars, we tolerated it for the... After a day seeing what there is to see in Seward I thought it was nice to go to a typical bar and have a drink with the locals. The people were friendly, the drinks were good, and it was a nice way to relax.

Kind of a dive, but that's why we liked it. Smokey, but they had the door propped open so it was tolerable. Personable bartender and owner. Colorful locals.
