I started with the coconut breaded shrimp served on a bed of mango papaya salsa, then moved to the seared shrimp served on a bed of spinach and with a sweet and sour sauce on the side, to finnally... We had breakfast and dinner (different days) at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. I went there thinking it was another tourist restaurant where food was going to be just ok and prices would be steep. Well I was wrong! Food was very good on both occasions and the service was excellent. Value is great. Managers came a couple of... More

Only had a salad here so it's hard to judge, but it wasn't a huge amount of food for the price we paid. (like most of Hawaii) We did get a nice table overlooking the harbor where we could watch all the people going by as we ate.

Stopped here for breakfast on my last full day in Kona. Had a great seat right by window with view of the ocean, an absolutely tasty breakfast and bloody Mary. Definitely worth the stop.

We found this place 3 years ago on a cruise, when we stopped at Kona for a shore excursion. We stopped in for lunch. Awesome. Last year we went back and ate there 2 other times, once for breakfast and another for dinner. This time, we ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of our meals were outstanding, from... We had dinner here and loved it. The fish was so fresh and tender, with wonderful risotto. I asked about pepper before ordering because I don't like it, and the server came back as she was placing the order to make sure that bell peppers would be okay. I so appreciate servers who take special requests seriously! My meal was... More

On our last day in Kona we stopped at Fish Hopper for a quick lunch on the way to the airport. I wish we had found it sooner as we enjoyed everything about Fish Hopper. I had an organic greens salad with coconut crusted prawns, delish...my husband had the fresh catch grilled fish sandwich and said it was better than... More
