Renowned for its signature style of "barefoot elegance," the transformed Beach Tree has a Hawaiian beach house feel marked by 16-foot (5-metre) vaulted ceilings and expansive water views. Trellised seating allows for al fresco dining, and outdoor lounge spaces set the stage for the perfect beachfront cocktail. Chef de Cuisine Nick Mastrascusa – formerly of 57 restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel New York – oversees a menu featuring California cuisine with Italian influences. All wines on the wine list are offered by the glass, half carafe and full bottle. Cocktails feature tropical ingredients, fresh fruit and original combinations, and include the Beach Tree Smash, which mixes pear and lime, and Tom's Pink Shirt, which combines guava liqueur, fresh Waimea strawberries and house-made sweet and sour made from agave nectar and fresh lime juice.

If words could be enough to share the delightful and deliciousness of their burger project, mushroom and beef you would have to go now. The flavor of the burger with mushrooms was amazing with a balsamic glaze. We also enjoyed the ahi tuna appetizer and fish tacos. Service was above average but they were very, very busy. What are you... More

Go for a view and ambiance. We sat at the bar( best view , btw!) and had some drinks and appetizers during the sunset time. I guess, we got lucky and found the spot fairly easy, the place gets packed and they recommend reservations. Drinks were good, and solid, but nothing like" out of this world", same with apps, but... Love, love, love the Beach Tree Grill. The delicious fresh seafood, warm temperatures and the sound of crashing waves make this an iconic destination in Kona. Saddle up to a seat, have a great playful conversation with the bartender and let the day go slowly by.

The fact that this place is packed nearly every night isn't just because of the amazing view, live music, and service, it's because the food is outstanding as well. During a recent vacation stay at the Four Seasons, my Husband and I ate at Beach Tree several times. We were blown away by the food quality, the drinks, and even... More

It was alright. Nothing spectacular. View was great though. I guess that's why they can charge what they charge.

I love the open air restaurant. Nightly live music is wonderful, although I do wish they would stick with Hawaiian music! It just seems to make the whole experience more wonderful!

The Beach Tree is in the Four Seasons on Big Island. The setting is breathtaking! The restaurant is set within steps of the white sand beach and breaking surf. It's artfully lit with tiki torches and spot lights. The two musicians singing and playing string instruments enhanced the ambience. Everything our party of four ordered was excellent, including the two... More

Great food and cocktails! The staff were great to chat with. Very knowledgeable about the island with great stories to share. It was just outside our room so location was perfect. Comfy chairs to lounge about in. Overall, a great spot.
