Stopped by for drinks and to watch the sunset before heading next door for dinner at Ulu. The drinks and atmosphere were wonderful and the views of the sunset were perfect. The complementary nuts and olives were surprisingly outstanding. Will definitely go back.

As a 19 year Kona resident I have a long history with the Four Seasons Hualalai. We had our wedding dinner there 17 years ago and have enjoyed anniversaries, birthdays and holidays there ever since. It is my very favorite place to dine on The Big Island. That is why our group of friends choose to have our Holiday dinner... More

I was part of the group the RedElephant 59 mentioned. I have to say that our dining experiences could not have been more different. My evening was exactly how I expected it to be, excellent. Holly, our server was great. She was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. She showed such tremendous patience and humor when trying to deal... More

As a resident of Kailua Kona, the Beachtree is always my restaurant of choice for a special occasion. For the last two years a large group of us has descended upon the restaurant for our Holiday Celebration. They always handle everything, including special requests, graciously. The food is excellent and delivered to the whole table at the same time, quite... More

I was the person who arranged the dinner RedElephant59 complained about. My experience was completely different. I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and I did smell the propane at our table from the tiki lamps, but I don't think its realistic for a customer to expect a plumber to come with metal saws and a blow torch to... The place is incredible well located, good service and looks. But the food isnt as great as the rest of the offer. Neither the drinks are incredible, despite they are OK.

I live in Kona. I remember when the 4 Seasons opened and we promptly tried all of the restaurants. Beach Tree was a nice, casual place to dine and enjoy the view. We went with a group for the past 2 years for a Christmas get together. After last year I was not going to go back, but I decided... More

My family, 2 adults and an 8 years old girl, visited Beach Tree last week. Bottom line...I am not sure I will come back. Pros.. Excellent location and ocean/sunset views. Courteous staff. Prompt service. Relaxing atmosphere. Cons.. Food quality, far away from the price charged for it. Beet salad was OK, nothing special but $22 for tiny bit of salad... More

Been here many many times, this last trip to the FS was a real disappointment due in part to the downturn at the Beach Tree. I hope they get their mojo back.
