Having lunch at Beach Tree was such a lovely part of our trip to Kona! I loved the food and atmosphere and our server was great at the beginning of our meal but then forgot about us halfway through. The place got really busy and having been a server in the weeds before I completely understood, but my water was... More

I was just on the Big Island and came over to the Four Seasons to check it out and have lunch with my son at the Beach House. I was considering staying at this property at an upcoming stay as I am or was loyal to the brand. I went to the hostess stand with my 18 year old son... More

I reviewed this restaurant on OpenTable awhile back: We were in Hawaii for 10 days on 2 islands, and Beach Tree was easily the best meal of the trip (and one of my favorite meals in all our trips to Hawaii)! The Four Seasons is a spectacular resort: the pools and grounds were impeccable. Beach Tree absolutely delivered on the... More

Beginning with my coconut lemonade, this place was near perfect! Great service, great food overall (the shrimp salad is pretty bland) great and unexpected wine list (it features some unusual selections, like a Riesling from Mosel-Sahr-Ruer, which match perfectly with the food and the hot humid weather. The frozen lemon meringue pie is not to be missed...light refreshing and decadent... More

This restaurant was my favorite for dinner - if you catch the sunset by the Beach Tree on the beach you are also in for some fabulous photos in addition to a great meal and service.

Upon arriving in our hotel room and getting settled, we were browsing through one of the magazines that the hotel provided. I stumbled upon the Chef's Counter and "sabering a champagne bottle" sold me. Thankfully we were able to arrange a meal during our stay on the Big Island and I can say that it is one of my favorite... More

The ambiance was out of this world. You feel surrounded by the ocean. Every seat in our table for 4 had a view. The service was excellent. We were in a bit of a rush since we had a concert to attend. I would say nothing could have been better except for the food. A shrimp started was a little... More

Food is excellent. A popular restaurant at the Four Seasons Kona. We generally had the catch of the day for dinner. Lively, fun.

It's "upscale". We all know what that means. And it is on Hawaii, where everything is expensive. So I expect to pay more here. And I did. Our meals were very good and the location is also very good. The part that I found shocking was what they charged for mixed drinks. Get ready to pay $18 for a Mai... More
