This restaurant was our Pearl of the trip. We had been to Kona before but some how missed the Daylight Mind restaurant. We ate both breakfast and dinner here on one day. On the main drag but at the back of the building looking out onto the ocean. Great food and view. Service was good. Definitely recommend.

service is friendly, no rush! had a late night snack, then some kava shared with another couple. Enjoyed the vibes and walked back to our little condo in good mood!

Ok it's in a strip mall, but good, down home kava in a laid back area. Love it! Fun way to chill with friends.

I love Kanaka Kava. The awa is great! I always get some to go. The people are wonderful. Don't forget to order some Ono hawaiian food while there. Their haupia sweet potato pie is to die for!

Killer Kava served traditional style. Low key locals hang out. Awesome local grindz. Freshest ingredients. Awesome, happy, friendly employees make you feel like Ohana.

Friendly staff and relaxed vibe. Went here twice to drink kava. Also they have real hawaiian food. I tried the taro, and though it was not my cup'o tea it was defenatly interresting. The kava is great. Would recomend and return. A selection of different kavas would have been awsome.

This is an outdoor kava bar. It's in a complex with a lot of other restaurants, shops and bars, so you have to meander to find it. We had already ate and it feels more structured towards the kava bar but I hear the food is excellent. It was my first time trying kava and the owner was serving it... More
