Great breakfast and supper too.

This place has a fantastic breakfast . We had french toast that was delicious, a good eggs benedict that could be oredeed as a half order, and a delicious noodle bowl called the B.I.G. Saimin - had pork, eggs, saimin noodles and wontons in it. We ate there for supper also on a Friday night. Two... read more

Went here for breakfast after reading reviews on TA. My sister (vegetarian) and wife came along with me. After we were seated, it took another 15 minutes for the server to come get an order for drinks, in which time my sister talked herself out of eating there, as the options for her were limited, and no server was showing... I've been there several times and really like it. Not for anyone who is counting calories but big portions of good food.

Went here three times, once for breakfast, twice for lunch. Husband loved the loco moco for breakfast, hamburger steak for lunch. The fish & chips were great, fresh opah (moon fish). Good local food, reasonably priced. Try the Hawaiian Plate on Friday to get a sampling of several local favorites! Always crowded. Lots of aloha here!

I was recommended this place by my dentist, who comes here every time he's on vacation in Kona. There were seven of us in the group when we came to have dinner, and it's a busy place, so a 10 min wait wasn't too bad to accommodate us. There is a good selection of food at a reasonable price, but being... More

We could tell the moment that we walked in that this was a local hangout. Our waitress had lovely aloha spirit. This is the place to go if you'd like a plate lunch as the menu offers many options from lau lau to katsu

This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast. Having lived here 25 years we've seen lots of restaurants come and go. Originally this location was a Jack in the Box, which went under decades ago and ultimately BIG came in. It is locally owned and operated, and you'll often see the owner there smiling and greeting guests and old... More

Authentic local food that was delicious and PLENTIFUL! Two people could have easily shared any of the entrees. The Loco Moco came in many varieties and was huge. Same with the Teri Chicken. The B.I.G. Pie was an awesome tower of coconut, macadamia nut, and chocolate ice cream goodness. Enough for four to share. I'll say that when we pulled... More
