Delicious and affordable steaks and sides. Try the awesome blossom. More outdoor seating, for less wait would be better.

Went for dinner our last night in the islands. Should have gone somewhere else. Place was NOT busy at all, yet service was extremely SLOW. We even saw a few couples leave after waiting a while. I know this place using their special seasoning on everything including the salads. I asked that they not put ANY seasoning on my food.... More

The advantage to eating at a national chain is that you know what to expect so we were extremely disappointed to not get seated until about an hour after our reservation time. We did have a large party (14) and it was the weekend of a large Canoe Paddling Long Distance Race (which is why we made reservations early). To... More

I went to Outback tonight hoping for a good meal and some relaxation after a really challenging day. I got to the restaurant around 8:30 pm and wanted to sit in the bar area to watch some SportsCenter as all of the evening games were over. The place was busy as expected but I did get right in and was... More

You get what you get with any chain restaurant but to patron a steak chain on Kona you better be a local or I'm not sure why you would go to such a place. Learn from my mistake; the atmosphere killed the vacation mood and the food was not well cooked and tasted very poor. I would suggest going to... More

A good representation of the Australian themed restaurant chain. Good food & pleasant service staff.

Last night, we took three generations of fossickers to the Outback Steakhouse in Kailua Kona. This Outback is a lot like any other, with a few exceptions. The most obvious is that it is in a tony mall (for Kona) with artsy fartsy shops and other restaurants and bars. It is near the ocean and if you choose, you can... More

Parking is interesting for this Outback restaurant. Park in an upper lot which is also shared by other businesses and walk down hill to the restaurant. The server was quite attentive and very friendly. He shared about why he choose to live in Hawaii from California and gave us some tips on what to see and do. The food was... More

Our first night on the Big Island and we wanted to go with a meal we could trust. While the service was very good, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. Hoping it was just a rough night in the kitchen.
