I love sitting up on the second floor of Pancho and Lefty's. The view is lovely and air is delightful. I especially like the noisy birds that roost in the large tree across the street. I have enjoyed every meal that I have eaten there. The margaritas are the most delicious ever!

Great margaritas but it was cinco de mayo , so the service was not great as they were packed ! Fun vibe though. Food was ice cold.

Traveled with friends to Kailua Kona and while the wifes shopped we sat up shop upstairs in Pancho & Lefty's enjoying ice cold Dos Equis on draft and the wonderful view of Kailua bay. We went here for lunch, after our friends told us about having tortilla soup and fish tacos here. I would say avoid the fish tacos...the are average at best. The tortilla soup is one of the best I have had. Other Mexican dishes heading to other tables looked pretty good, but can't comment on how they tasted.

Good if you get seated on the open balcony with a nice view. Was seated promptly with good service..... have had better mexican, but food was okay. Would go again if in Kona.

We were drawn by the 2nd floor open balcony seating. Service was okay. Could be cleaner. Food was good and plentiful. Birds were a nuisance flying on and around the tables as diners would leave.

We have frequented Pancho & Lefty's Cantina for years. Is it not the best Mexican food I've ever eaten, but for Hawaii it is pretty good.
