Enjoyed the toasted coconut and macadamia nut ice cream. So creamy and tasty! My husband had the chocolate fudge. They give samples so you can taste before making your choice.

I know that everything is expensive in Hawaii, but the amount of ice cream we got was so little!!! The taste was great, just really small portions. Too expensive for what you get.

Have enjoyed it during previous trips to Kona. Found it frustrating this time because there were long lines and only one staff working (and rather slowly at that). Walked out on the second occasion and just bought some ice cream next door at the next door KTA instead.

The tropical dream ice cream was fantastic! I went with a no frills shaved ice and it was fine. The shop was located in a mall complex next to KTA supermarket. People say the service was poor, but the way I see it, it is just right for an island setting. It wasn't busy when we went, but there was... More

The ice cream was great, but the service was poor. They were out of dole whip, although it was listed on the board.

Had a craving for shave ice and ice cream and this was where we ended up. Very small shop, prices were so-so, but the ice cream and shave ice was very good. The lady putting my medium shave ice together, kept piling ice upon ice upon ice until I couldn't believe how big it was getting. Of course, once she... More

Reasonably priced and good ice cream. Love Lappert's so I was surprised this compares favorably!! And much cheaper. Less than $10 for two double scoops.

I love Lappearts ice cream and have it every time I travel to Hawaii, but the Big Island does not have Lappearts. Moo Bettah uses a local made ice cream that is nearly as creamy as I like. Go there.

The syrups were distinct enough, and the mango sorbet/ice cream was very good, but the snow ice syrups were too sugary. And the prices were high, even for Hawaii. Service was very good.
