An absolute must for me, I go here for a delicious fruit bowl on every visit. The ocean view is amazing! Service friendly. A delicious and healthy way to start your day.

Welllll...We are SO GLAD that we did not stay anywhere near Kona on our trip to the BI. But, if we did, Basik Acai would have been the best consolation prize ever! Stay anywhere north...as in any resort in South Kohala. Back to the review...my family of 4 loved loved loved Basik Acai! Any time we went anywhere near this... More

forget jamba juice, Basik has the best ACAI sourced, its really like taking the "tastes the difference challenge" Plenty of car park spaces, plus its along the main shoreline in Kona so easily accessible via cycle or foot. Staff super friendly, my favourite was the Banyan Bowl

On a six day trip to Kona we had breakfast at Basik Acai four times. The staff were friendly, the food is healthy and delicious, and the location was a stone's throw away from our hotel (Royal Kona Resort).

Ordered a plain smoothie and asked for honey milk and specifically to NOT get cashew milk, which I'm allergic to. One hour later I'm beyond sick and have to go to hospital because my reaction was so bad. Ruined my weekend thanks to whoever was working there not doing their job correctly.

We ate here twice during our stay and were impressed with the food both times. The service, however, was rude and disappointing.

I have been going to Basiks for a few years now it seems. I have always love love loved the bowls. So yummy, healthy, and filling. However recently I have been told by staff that they no longer use actual bowls and only have plastic "to go style" containers. This ruins their product! 1. The bowls used to keep your... More

This place is really, really good. The only place we visited twice while in Kona. I was hesitant to eat here as I'm more of a meat and potato (or egg and hash browns for breakfast) kind of guy. I only went because of my wife's urging. And wow, am I glad I did. Their Acai bowls are delicious. I... More

Try the banyan bowl :) the place is super small so don't plan on sitting there. Just grab your food and go. The service is slow but worth the wait for the delicious bowl.

I loved the Banyan bowl. It really had the perfect ratio of banana, acai, granola and nuts & seeds, so that you get some of everything in one bite. This place is a welcome respite from the refined sugars and starches of the hotel buffet. Great low-key hippie location. I wish they had more seating and wifi though.
