Solid Acai Choice and Cool Spot

This is a nondescript place in what seems like a treehouse in Kona. The bowls were great, perhaps a bit too much granola but lots of fruit to go around. We tried the Banyan, Islander and Puna and all were good. The service was friendly and the place just seems like a great joint for those who... read more

I have been here numerous times, and at first I loved it but now it is not so great. It is very pricey and the customer service is not good. Don't even try to order the Mayan Mint smoothie because they never have mint. I have ordered that smoothie several times and it wasn't until after I payed that they... More

love the selection and view is not bad either when ur sitting on the deck. Everything is so fresh. only bad thing - wish they had longer spoons, when u get th large bowl those short spoons make it hard to reach the bottom. Try their other place in San Francisco, i think it's on th 1900 blk of Polk... More

My husband and I have been getting a Kilauea bowl at Basik Kona for 5 years - twice a week. I looked forward to this every week, but not the same anymore. First they stopped adding acerola juice and went to mango juice - I really missed the recovery benefits of the acerola, but got used to it. Then they... More

My wife went ape over the bowl with the cacao in it and wanted it every day. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey but not ridiculous.

My husband picked up this as a healthy breakfast alternative while everyone was getting ready. Great choice for the hot weather. The small portion is plenty for an individual.

Looking for something off the beaten path for breakfast and after searching we found this place. Having Açaí bowls before, this place exceed my expectation. All the ingredients are fresh and sweet. portions are wonderful and price is relative to that. Differently come to this place if are going to Kailua-Kona.

Never had an Acai bowl until here and WOW, so delicious. My daughter and I shared the small puna bowl which was more than enough for both of us. Not too sweet and fresh ingredients, bananas and blueberries with granola topping, hemp seed and honey. So yummy! Portions are very large so share and it won't take such a huge... More

I absolutely love the Basik Cafe. We go there for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. They use only fresh ingredients and their acai bowls are fantastic. No trip to Kona is complete without a stop at the Basik.

We'd heard about this place before. Since we were staying at the Royal Kona Resort, this was an easy walk across the street in back of our hotel. The all-natural and organic smoothies are to die for :)!
