Healthy breakfast alternative

My husband picked up this as a healthy breakfast alternative while everyone was getting ready. Great choice for the hot weather. The small portion is plenty for an individual.

Looking for something off the beaten path for breakfast and after searching we found this place. Having Açaí bowls before, this place exceed my expectation. All the ingredients are fresh and sweet. portions are wonderful and price is relative to that. Differently come to this place if are going to Kailua-Kona.

Never had an Acai bowl until here and WOW, so delicious. My daughter and I shared the small puna bowl which was more than enough for both of us. Not too sweet and fresh ingredients, bananas and blueberries with granola topping, hemp seed and honey. So yummy! Portions are very large so share and it won't take such a huge... More

I absolutely love the Basik Cafe. We go there for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. They use only fresh ingredients and their acai bowls are fantastic. No trip to Kona is complete without a stop at the Basik.

We'd heard about this place before. Since we were staying at the Royal Kona Resort, this was an easy walk across the street in back of our hotel. The all-natural and organic smoothies are to die for :)!

We stayed just up the road from Basik Acai and everyday we would walk into Kona and get a Smoothie on our walk back. We tried a lot of different flavours and they were all very tasty and enjoyable. We also tried the Acai Bowl and it is very filling and is easily big enough for 2 people.

This little shack about Bob's Snorkel's serves up some of the freshes smoothies and acai bowls in Kona. My wife and I each had a different smoothie and each were delicious. Although it can get a bit pricey as our two large smoothies came to just under $15. But I guess that is par for the course on Hawaii as... More

This place is amazing. Best Acai bowls I have ever had. Definitely plan to spend around $15 but worth it. Can sometimes get a line out the door, and rarely room to actually sit. But there is some grass nearby so if you have a blanket you can make it a picnic. Well worth it!

We went to Basik on a friends recommendation and it was amazing! The flavors and ingredients are delicious and even now, weeks after visiting, I am craving another one of their bowls. They are definitely very pricey but well worth it. Great place for if you''re on the go or need a quick refreshing breakfast. My wife and I went... More
