I had to come here and see why it was the number 1 ranked place to eat in Kona and now I see why. From the time you walk in you are warmly greeted by the staff who are very helpful since I had no clue what poke was. This place is amazing! So fresh with a great amount of... More

Da Poke Shack will have 4-5 different ahi poke preparations plus spicy clam ceviche, seafood salad, calamari steaks. If you love fresh sashimi, Da Poke Shack is for you! We suggest getting your order to go. Seating is very limited.

We heard about the poke from a one of locals while shopping at Costco. So we decided to try it. Got there and they gave us samples of all of the different poke they had. We ended up buying the combo. 2 different poke, two scoops of rice, cucumber, and potato salad. It was amazing!! I was not disappointed. Fresh... More

Our dive boat crew gave us this address and they were spot on. The fish was really fresh and the flavors were excellent. I'll certainly be stopping here again next trip. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick (but filling) bite to eat.

It looked like a shack. We went in because we thought it looks interesting and local. Ordered their $6 Ono fish burger. Boy we were knocked over by how good that was. This is a must eat if you are in Kona. Beats the other expensive chi chi restaurants hands down.

The simple fact is that the poke is great. This is a must try if your are ever in Kailua kona. However I would prefer going to it's competitor (see other teview). The portion is smaller compared to a competitor, but that's not a deal breaker for me. There isn't much seating available and the pricing of the food could... More

We had a wonderful lunch at the new addition to DPS in Capt. Cook. Open just two months, the restaurant is located on Hwy. 11 at mile marker 106. If you are looking for the freshest yellow fine tuna, in a very unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere don't miss Da Poke. Several verities of Poke to choose from. We ordered the Poke... More

All food is fresh and good with fairly large portions. We had friendly and fast service - we stopped in around 11 am. There are not many places to sit but worth the trip for the poke!
