Great views from upper deck, good beer selection

Enjoyed the fish tacos (large portions) and had a great view from the upper deck. Good service, decent beer selection.

This restaurant was across the road from our hotel and had been recommended to us from a local. It's got great views and the service is very good and relaxed which is what we needed after travelling for over 17 hours with an 11 and 15 year old. We managed to get there for happy hour and the drinks and... More

Humpy's has a large beer selection and the bartender was great. No tables were open so we sat at the bar. It is a nice place to watch the sunset. Fish and chips were ok, the special was tortellini and it was ok.

We had lunch at Humpy's, and the overall experience was excellent. Our waiter was great, the food was very good, and the location was excellent - we sat where we could people-watch along Ali'i Drive and the ocean was right across the street. We didn't eat at a lot of other restaurants on the Big Island, but I can't imagine... More

My wife and I happened by this restaurant by chance. We had great food, better service and the best drinks on the Island. We have been back 4 time so far this vacation. We have tried salads, fish and chips and chocolate deserts and haven't been disappointed yet. 5 stars

We stopped at Humpys at our first night in Kona with a group of family members. The food was average, the view was beautiful and the service was good. A lot of people loved the pretzel, my fish sandwich (tuna) was "meh" but Lava Flow and wings were awesome.

After snorkeling nearby we were looking for something basic--and found this place. There are great tables upstairs and downstairs right along the rail looking at the water. The service was fast and pleasant. We had clams as a starter and they were great! The burgers and sandwiches were great with fresh fruit sides, the fish and chips were fresh and... More

This place is right on the road with a great view of the ocean. Anytime is good but at night the view is less and it's more of party place. Sunset is the nicest time. Try for a table by the railing to maximize the view. The tables are picnic bench style and there is some sharing of the long... More

Though we were thrilled they had gluten free pizza as a gluten free option, the main draw here is the location. It's right across the street from the ocean, so you get to watch/listen to rolling waves as you eat. It was the perfect place to grab dinner and watch the sun set. Most of the service was good. The... More

It's not terrible, but there's lot of other options. Overpriced for what you get. The view is outstanding, but the staff didn't know any details re their menu (simple stuff, like is the fish fried or grilled). Ribs were over cooked to toughness. The calamari, though, was excellent. We found the prices higher than for similar food at similar places.... More
