Great View

We were just walking around trying to decide where to eat and were lured in the the happy hour mai tai's. We were not disappointed. The drinks were good and we ordered the fish and chips, which were very good. One order was enough for the both of us - we were lucky to be sitting next to a... read more

Read about the restaurant and the seafood linguini. It did not disappoint! Husband and I both ordered - comes with salad and garlic bread. We could have split one order and ordered a second side salad. Delicious - just had the leftovers tonight and still wonderful! Then went back this morning for breakfast. Great people watching, good prices on Bloody... More

We enjoyed our breakfast looking out at the ocean in beautiful Kailua Kona. We had pancakes with bananas and Macadamia nuts with coconut syrup. They were yummy! The Kona coffee was delicious and the service was perfect.

They serve breakfast until 2pm which is my kinda place. Mimosa's, bloody mary's, and Irish coffee (not true Irish coffee, the kind made with Baileys 😕) for $3.95 or, Mai Tai for $5. 😊 they would have received 5 stars but the bacon was only luke warm. potatoes were not as fresh as I would like. Probably better earlier. We were... More

Best breakfast in that small area. Plenty of food to choose from other than pork and fish. Good coffee. Big plates and discounts.

We were advised to stop for breakfast at Bongo Ben's and we were not disappointed. We had a good table to watch the action of the passersby, the traffic and the ocean. It was a busy place for breakfast but our service and food was good.A nice place to visit if you are along Alii Drive in Kona!!

The Banana Mac pancakes were awesome and you can custom an omelet. Sit and feel the breeze and look out at the bay while you have brfts, lunch or dinner.

Went in to Bongo Bens to kill some time before check in. Staff was laid back and attentive. Enjoyed great happy hour drinks and pu pus. Sat and watched the sun set over the Pacific from the lanai. Great way to start a vacation.

The first place we ate at when arriving at Kailua-Kona was Bongo Ben's. We got there just in time for sunset, which was beautiful that night. He ordered the coconut shrimp with salad with the special honey mustard salad dressing, and I ordered the dinner salad with mahi mahi. We also had a couple of Mai Tais that were fantastic... More

Great place close to the hotel to grab some breakfast. Beautiful views to take in and enjoy while you eat and people watch everyone going by.
