It was late (for us) and we were hungry but my wife wanted fish and chips and didn't want to go out. I did some research on Trip Advisor and chose Bongo Ben's for the price as well as the use of local fish for its fish and chips. We were not disappointed. The fish was fresh, battered but not... We ate breakfast here 3 times, and found it to be very good. On one visit the server ignored us, so the manager took our order and made everything right. So many menu choices.

We chose this place as our last place to eat for our final sunset on the island. Great view. Fast service. Fast food. Plate of onion rings was HUGE way more than 2 people can eat. Plate of cheesy bacon fries was amazing and large as well. We also shared a side dish of veggies with tons of garlic. YUMMY!!!!... More

This is a great little bar right on the rocks at the beach next to the Royal Kona Resort. We had drinks here a couple times and ordered nachos as an appetizer. Fun place and I highly recommend it!

Breakfasts are outstanding. If you go away hungry, you have a huge appetite. Portions are huge. All the food that is supposed to be hot is when it arrives at your table. The service is top notch with reasonable prices for all you get. The place gets crowded fast, so the earlier you get there, the better views of the... More

We enjoyed Bongo Ben's for lunch. The fish and chips with the coconut crust may have been the best I have had EVER!!! They were fresh, moist and not greasy at all. My husband had a club sandwich which was fresh and well prepared. The service was efficient and friendly.

It looks like of bad from the outside and a little crowded on the inside. But the food is great. That's why they are so crowded. There is a bar the so you can have a drink at 8:00 in the morning. The service is great but the food is slow to come. But it is worth the wait. It's... More
