A super breakfast at Bongo Ben's

Our rental agent recommended Bongo’s and gave us a 15% coupon. It overlooks the sea right in the main section of Kona. We sat right in the front enjoying the vistas. A passer-by gave my wife a few flowers. My wife enjoyed her Strawberry and cheese salad. I had a noon breakfast with... read more

We ate here a couple of times over the past week. My friend ordered pizza both times, said they were great. I ordered a veggie pizza, it was very flavorful! Our adult beverages were also great. She ordered a Hawaiian Punch and I ordered a ChiChi, requesting more of a coconut taste as opposed to pineapple. The drinks were spot... More

Breakfast was wonderful as was the water front view. We were warmly greeted by the owner who was as pleasant as his staff. A wonderful, fun experience. Thank you Bongo Ben's.👍👍

Our server was really lovely and attentive and service was quick. Portions are huge here and pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. My husband's tuna was so overdone it was dry and hard to swallow, as were his mashed potatoes. I had a terriyaki chicken wrap and it was very bland. This is fat tourist food at... More

We sat facing the water, across the street from the ocean. Food was delicious and service was great. I had an omlette and my wife had eggs Benedict...not bad!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we went to Bongo Ben's for breakfast! The prices were extremely reasonable compared to other places. My husband got the Loco Moco which is a local favorite and I got the breakfast omelet. I absolutely loved my breakfast omelet, it was fresh and delicious! My husband cleaned his plate with his,... I have eaten here few times. Affordable prices for Hawaiian standard. They have diverse menu items. Egg dishes - omlets are good. From the previous management we used to get good coupons, lately I have not seen one. They have a great location right across the ocean. I enjoy hearing the waves while eating. Evening is fun, you can see... More

The view to the sunset was outstanding, waitstaff was very attentive...but the food was okay. The chicken and onion ring appetizer was very good.

We had a breakfast, lunch and a dinner and all the meals were very good. We sat looking out over the ocean. We found the staff friendly and helpful. However, sometimes we would walk by an see the place very busy so others must also like this as well. Caution, my breakfast included a home made biscuit which was clearly... More
