Very crowded huge menu but breakfast was very greasy. The seating is very crowded and the air is very stagnant at the front of the restaurant we would not go back.

Great location, great menu options, wait staff interested to help you. Crowded location, but staff dont hurry you, you are not rushed through, enjoy your breakfast and view. Bit pricey against options in Waikiki, but on par for quality. Recommend. All options we had over 3 different days were all winners.

Excellent prices and the onion rings are great. The sunset view is outstanding. Staff are polite and the place is very clean.

Had lunch this time with dining across the street from the bay in Kona downtown. Great views of the water and some days a cruise ship to watch. We had the local beef hamburger, and a salad, and our daughter had a salad, and ordered a smoothie and sweet potato fries for our granddaughter. Good service, and a casual atmosphere.... More

Great happy hour cold beer and affordable pupus, !Bar tender could be friendlier and their burgers need new buns, They rant about their home baked buns but I dont need a loaf of bread on my hamburger, but for Kona its a pretty good deal

Bongo Bens is right next door to Royal Kona resort. We had not eaten there before (having been to Kona 5 times) as we had eaten breakfast there once and didnt want to go back. HOWEVER - dinner is another issue - we had a number of our dinners there, the food is great, and reasonable price. The staff are... More

Great to sit at a table or counter having breakfast overlooking the ocean. The fresh fish and tomatoes, toast was my favorite.

We couldn't sit anywhere in town with a party of 12. Tammy the manager sat us right down and took personal care of us. She made sure everything was perfect! Wonderful food and drinks.

Ate breakfast here with my family in Jan 2015. Friendly service, large portions of tasty food. My fried potatoes were yummy, but my Dad's were underdone and raw in bits. My Bongo Benedict was tasty, but the Hollandaise sauce might have been a bit dicy, since I had a never-ending stomach ache and nausea for 6 hours afterward. Views of... More

Stopped in here on a whim and found it to be quite enjoyable!! The food was fresh, affordable, and abundant. We had a few drinks and 4 meals and it was just over $50, not bad for Hawaii. Plus you get the wide open water front views. Cool place to hang out and relax.
