We enjoyed Bongo Ben's! The food is good and the view from the patio is beautiful! We visited during the holiday season and had the opportunity to watch the Christmas Parade from the patio! One night we visited, there was a live band. The service was great, even though they can tend to get very busy, at times.

Food is really great and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. There is a lot of other places to eat surrounding (below LaVernes Sports Bar) so they are almost begging for people to come in, though it was pretty packed each time we walked by. Friendly quick service and tasty food. Try the Hearts of Romaine Saladd Romaine lettuce... More

Eggs Benedict was awesome. French toast was really good. Chorizo omelette also was great. Good service. Larger servings. Great views.

Stopped here after Manta ray dive (which is highly recommended) and got seated immediately. Service was a little slow to get our order, but food came quickly, was in large portions for touristy area, and was very good. Would definitely go again!

Good service, an extremely friendly manager, large food portions and an excellent location to people watch, right across the street from the ocean.

Always liked the $3 bloody mary's or mimosa's but they are now $4. Eggs Benedict my favorite along with the ocean view.

We ate here twice during a stay in Kona. The front patio fronts onto busy Alii Drive which separates it from the ocean. To be fair, Alii is busy...but only by Kona standards. The food was quick and tasty....try something with the Hawaiian coleslaw....it has pineapple. The service was quick and cheerful and I found the prices to be reasonable.... More

My wife and I ate breakfast/brunch here on 3 occasions. It is very handy if you are staying at the Royal Kona as their buffet breakfast is nice but slightly overpriced. The menu choice is good and the service was very good, fast and friendly. It has WIFI which also could save you money if your hotel charges for this.

I stayed in Kona for 7 days, my first meal in Kona was at Bongo Bens! They ruined me for any other restaurant! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was amazing, the view was killer. Last but certainly not least was the wonderful, charming, adorable waitress/manager Janet! She made me and my family feel like we were long time regulars,... More
