Most restaurants in Kailua-Kona operate on the principle that as a tourist they only need to feed you once. Quality means nothing to them. Jacky Rey's is worth repeating. The service was good as usual and the food was timely. A little pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it. Yum!

Highly recommended by locals so we decided to try and it did not let us down. We ate out every night of the week, mostly in downtown Kona and this was by far the best meal we had. From apps (had crab cakes) to meal to desert (get the macadamia bar) and full bar menu all was delicious. This was... More

The food here was excellent and the atmosphere casual and "old school" Hawaiian. I had the seafood trio and it was a work of art and quite delicious. Great first night out when you get to Kona. Everyone in our party left with a big smile. Wish we were back there now!

We had an absolutely wonderful evening dinning here. They were especially accommodative as we were a very late arrival and I am sure they were looking forward to going home. We had outstanding sea food {ahi tuna} as well as one had the 12 oz. pork chop. We had to try the Calamari and found it so good we ordered... More

The concierge recommended Jackie Rey's and she was on the spot. A little pricey, but not too much by Kona standards. But it's worth every penny. The chef takes the time to make a special dish with local farm and fish ingredients, then a flair for something creative in the preparation and presentation. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere... More

Stopped by Jackie Rey's for lunch. The fish tacos were amazingly good. The bar tender provided great service and was friendly and chatty. Turned out she was the daughter of someone I went to high school with. What a small world!

We had Jackie Ray's on our list of places to go but never did, simply because it was not along the water front. On our last day on the island we finally stopped by and I'm glad we did. We caught it just before dinner and the crowd was light. The happy hour menu was short, but full of good... More

Went here 3 times during my 13 day stay in Kona and each time the food and service was excellent. Always ate the catch of the day, but their Asian style ribs were a total hit with my husband and poke was really fresh and tasty. I cannot find fault with the food and service. If you don't mind missing... More

It took my wife, myself, and two adult children, 12 hours to get here. Needless to say we were bone weary. The concierge said Jackie Rey's would be a great place to stop and recharge from our trip. We took her up on her reccomendation. What a great decision. The service was first rate. The food was excellent and served... More
