We have known Viking and its chef waiter for 14 years and are always more than content. We strongly recommend mixed mussels as 1st course and "Bavette alto mare" as second. Top service, always friendly and with highest competency. For us a visit in the area without several visits at Viking is a no-go ! Thus we can support the... More

En route to Rovinj, we decided to stop to enjoy the fjord. Stopped for a quick bite at Viking. The food was disappointing, the prices are high and the quality is hit and miss. The service was far from acceptable. There was another party of 6 next to us and the owner could not be nicer to them. When dealing... More

The owner of the apartment we stayed at recommended this restaurant. He frequently goes there "to impress business relations". When you've eaten here, you understand why. Location: Limsky kanal is situated near the origen of the fjord, between bubani and kruncici (small towns). You can reach limski bay by one of many touristboats that depart from Rovinj or Porec, or... More

Stopped off here for a pleasant lunch en route from Porec to Rovinj - oysters and a bottle of wine. Quick, good service and good value.

Scampis overcooked and difficult to peel as they broke into very small pieces, sauce had no taste, price for 5 very small scampi WELL OVERPRICED and not a friendly service from the head waiter who dropped our bill on the table without a thanks or an offer of the normal hospitality from any Kanoba or restaurant in this area, Will... We decided to visit because of the place itself and the mussels grown very near. Already seeing the capacities, number of people and waitress's hurrying it should be a sign this will not be a food experience. Prosciuto was good, oysters excellent, calamari were adriatic but the worst ever, mussels average, bill reasonable. Giving more than 3 out of 5... More

The restaurant is very clean and very well organized, and looking at the other guests, it was obvious that the major part of the guests were guests coming back and knowing what they were looking for. we had a very good and very tasty fish soup with nice pieces of fish in it. Simply the best I have eaten for... More

Lim Fjord is maybe a tourist trap, but it is not yet optimised and has therefore many inconsistencies. The traffic signs which guide us to the destination are few and at the final turn to the parking area even hardly visible. On top of that, both restaurants are unattractive furnished and in Viking we suprisingly found Peugeot branded(?!) pepper grinder... More

Great setting and perfect lunch on a perfect day. We shared a fish platter for 2. Our guidebook recommended and it was a bit tricky to find on the GPS but basically it is at the head of the Lim Channel.

The Viking Restaurant gets most of its business from people who arrive on many of the boat excursion trips from Porec and Rovinj. They also pick up business from Croatians in search of the fresh oysters from the nearby farms in the stunning Lim Fjord. On our only visit to this restaurant I really wasn't expecting anything very much. The... More
