Santana's is a semi-fast food place with a nice selection of authentic dishes and decent prices. The quality is fine and the tastes are authentic, although a little toned down. The salsa bar is a very nice touch. I've had better Mexican food, but, more importantly, I've had much worse. If you need a quick stop for lunch on your... More

Good food, ok prices, awesome salsa bar. Much better then the other choices in town for Mexican food. Wish food wasn't served on paper plates. For the $$ they could make the restaurant feel less like a fast food place.

We only ever ate the veggie burritos and fries. Good stuff. Loved being able to eat out for cheap on the days it was too rainy to build a fire. LOL

Good value on average Mexican food. The place is not pretty nor is the food amazing. But if you are looking for something to eat in a hurry or late at night this is the place. Big portions and low prices keep a steady stream of customers visiting. I have been a customer since this location opened and continue to... More

This was my first time eating at this chain and I ordered the Chimichunga Dinner. It came w/ rice, refried beans and a drink. The Chimichunga was large enough to be eating for two meals. I will eat here again before leaving Twentynine Palms/California.

I am a native of Southern California and often eat in Mexican restaurants. Although this restaurant is popular with people visiting from out of town, I have eaten at many better Mexican restaurants. The food was just thrown together and unappetizing.

I love Santana's huge menu, and I love the murals on the wall, many of which feature Marines, which is not the standard decoration in a Mexican restaurant. I always enjoy the shrimp dinner, which comes with a generous portion of fried shrimp plus refried beans, rice, and two kinds of sauce. Other dishes we've tried (burritos and enchiladas) have... This is a drive thru, with tables inside. There is a large menu, with pictures, on the wall. My partner and I ordered two different plates, but when they arrived we couldn't tell them apart. They looked identical! So much for presentation! Actually, the food tasted quite good, and the portions were generous. The prices, however, seemed a little high... More
