It was pretty good . Nothing to fancy and the prices are decent . I would go again . The "steak ranchero" is pretty good . Good size for a steak

We've been here three times, very good food last night. Shrimp Casa special with beans and rice was very good and good value. The waitresses are always nice there. Enjoyed the live music, too.

A good place to meet up with friends for dinner after a day in Joshua Tree National Park...you will not be rushed and it is a popular spot for gathering. The food is very mediocre Mexican with not the best guacamole. As average as the food is...it is better than several fast food Mexican restaurants and may be your only... More

Met friend here after touring Joshua Tree NP. Ample portions of mediocre Mexican dishes. Casual and no rush place to visit with friends. Only thing below average was the guacamole. This may be your best choice beyond fast food Mexican.

Be warned---the 'Mexican' food tastes as though it was in a can right before serving, and even the lemonade and ice tea are watered down. I have never felt the need to put salt and pepper on a Mexican meal before, but it was the only way to get any flavor into the meal. I ordered a chile relleno, and... More

We have very few local places to eat and this is one of the best! The food is great and the service is even better. All of the servers/waiters are super friendly and very welcoming. Oh and the Margaritas are to die for!

Unless you HATE fantastic smoky chile colorado, wonderful rellenos and melt-in-your-mouth enchiladas. They use the good, melty quesadilla, maybe cotija? cheese it seems. The flavors are all perfect. We certainly felt they take their time to meld the sauces and spices used in their dishes. If you're visiting Joshua Tree, GO there.

There are not many selections in 29 palms so you are limited to where you can go. We went here for dinner. The service was very good, the food was average, and the margaritas were good. There was a mixture of people. I did not see any children, and there was a table of 20 somethings that were loud and... More

You're not in the middle of nowhere when you're in Twentynine Palms, it just seems that way sometimes. Fortunately, it's not a total desert when it comes to food choices. If you're in the mood for some workmanlike, familiar Mexican food, Edchada gets the job done. Especially for out-of-towners, the prices are more than fair, bordering on the downright cheap.... More
