Belgian family touring 3 weeks in SW-USA. This was certainly one of our best meals : fresh and healthy products & still reasonably priced food & wine. Congratulations to the chef !

2 families and a friend stayed at the 29 palms inn for 2 nights. From check in to check out we had a fantastic experience. The rooms were 3 Adobes at the end of the property. Small but clean functional and most importantly air conditioned with an enclosed yard that you could sit out at night and watch the stars..... More

This is a small restaurant by the pool and it is apparently loved by many in the area. We could see lots of regular diners came by for their meal. We had steak, fish, ribs and their signature clams pasta. Excellent choice and it cost us about US100 for the meal (without drinks).

In an area without a lot of intriguing culinary options, the restaurant at 29 Palms Inn delivered fresh, delicious food with excellent flavors. It is within the context of its location that this restaurant merits an excellent rating, though I don't want this qualification to discount the fact that they do genuinely deserve a high rating for providing reasonably priced,... I love this place! Their food is delicious and a lot is grown in their own garden. I've gone here since I was 7 years old when it still had a fishnet on the ceiling...but it has only gotten better. Good food and service!

While this restaurant is short on ambience, it does offer fine food. My husband had salmon with a dill and sour cream sauce, and I had crab cakes and potato wedges (an entree I cobbled together from appetizers). The crab cakes were bready, but still tasty. The sourdough bread offered before the meal was delicious. The decor is funky and... More

This place deserves your stopping even if you are staying elsewhere. The owner is friendly and the place is lovingly cared for by her. The restaurant uses stuff grown in their garden and the pool area was very inviting with tables to eat outside. Be sure and walk around the property and see the oasis and garden area as well... More

29 Palms Inn is one of the few restaurants in town open for dinner on Sunday and Monday. That said, I would consider the restaurant even when there are more options available. We enjoyed the casual ambiance of our poolside table - what could be better on a balmy desert evening? Our meals were fine, crisp salads and flavorful steaks,... More

On a recent visit to Twenty-nine Palms, CA, I made a dinner stop at the 29 Palms Inn. For starters, I had a very good salad with crisp lettuce and cucumbers with a blue cheese dressing topping. For my main meal, I tried the spaghetti carbonara which was made with pancetta, a little onion sauteed in olive oil, and the... More

We had a lovely meal at the 29 Palms Inn on the recommendation of my partner's boss, who used to live in L.A. We sat by the pool and enjoyed the balmy evening (giving us a little distance from the live music being played in the dining room). Service was friendly and good. I appreciated our server's suggestion to order... More
