Fabulous food, wonderful service.

Arrived without a reservation but the wait was well worth it...sat with a glass of excellent Rose by an open fire whilst star gazing! I am fussy with food...I prefer quality not quantity and chose the Spinach Salad - after checking the eggs were from 'happy chickens', which they are as they keep... read more

The food was so-so, in that it is supposed to be locally grown, and fancy ingredient words were used on the menu, blah, blah, but what it really was was what I would call good home cooking. The place itself was interesting. It might be fun to stay there. The night we went there was live music, which was nice.

Food review only. Very lively on a busy Friday night. The greeter was a bit gruff, stating it would be 30-40 minute wait. We went to the bar and found the standard fare. Domestic beers on tap (0 Craft beer) and mass produced (cheap) wine – none very appealing. For a California restaurant serving steak and seafood, the wine list... More

Dear Russell, Your feedback is appreciated, and you are certainly correct that it was a very busy weekend for our small restaurant given that it was the President’s Day long weekend and also Valentine’s Day. Our sincere apologies that your first impression and interaction with our staff seemed gruff or unwelcoming, that’s never our intention. We are also sorry that... More

Love the menu selection at lunch. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere when getting together with my girlfriends for a bite to eat and a chance to catch up!

We were seated at the bar while we waited for a table, where the bartender was kind and friendly. The whole restaurant had a cozy and familial atmosphere with live music, and our waiters were kind, courteous and friendly (Shout-outs to Shelby and Sabrina!) and the food was incredibly fresh and very tasty! Definitely would return and come again, a... More

At first sight this restaurant looked like it would be OK but I was disappointed in many ways. After returning a meal to the kitchen, it was served on the same plate, fixed not replaced and the fries were returned cold. There was a charge on my bill for something I did not order. Coffee was served cold. The most... More

There's not a lot of options in the town of 29 Palms. I was there after spending the day in Joshua Tree NP. The hotel I was staying at recommended this restaurant. I yelped the restaurant to be sure, and it had good reviews. Reviews recommended the steak, and I second that recommendation. It was cooked to order. There was... More

It's small so you may want to get there early but the food was fantastic. The children's menu had a good variety, and the kids liked their pizza and noodles. The scallop risotto was amazing. The wine selection was nice too. Great sourdough bread. Sadly the food was so good we had no room for dessert.

This is the nicest restaurant in town. It's in the hotel and looks out over the pool. It's not huge, but it has a full bar and there were musicians playing when we were there. The menu is very, very meaty and slightly overpriced. As a vegetarian there weren't many choices, but the atmosphere made it fun and if you're... More
