...but I can't. The food was quite good and I would give 5 stars based on that alone, but I was appalled at one of the waitresses walking around the restaurant with customers in it with a fly swatter, killing flies on tables, windows and anywhere else they happened to land. It was not very busy at only 3 in... More

We ate several places in 29 Palms and this became our favorite! Mostly the nice friendly service in here! And they have a great Breakfast special and a Great hamburger special! The steaks aren't real good but the grilled Halibut steak is! They do need somebody to teach them how to make milkshakes! But overall we have to rank this... More

We stopped for lunch while taking a break from Joshua Tree NP. We enjoyed lunch so much that we came back that same night and had dinner. Good selection, good prices and great food. What more could you ask for, plus there really aren't much options to eat here anyway.

We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and it seemed that they would have preferred an early close than to deal with us. We did get a tasty meal from their limited menu. Given that there aren't any other non fast food places around it was as good as can be expected. My liver was a bit tough but the... More

Restaurant selections are limited in town. Always enjoy breakfast out but you might want to stay away from this place. The people are nice, the food is okay, but the place is dirty and definitely needs a facelift. Torn seats, stained & scarred tables and duct tape holding the screens kind of ruins the atmosphere.

During a weekend visit to Joshua Tree National Park, we visited this restaurant for breakfast based upon the many positive reviews. Breakfast for two was $24 before the tip and it was very average at best. Although the service was fine, it was nothing special. I found the entire dining area to be rather filthy and in need of a... We found this place accidentally when we were in Twenty-Nine Palms this past December. Our waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious. We'd certainly recommend it. It was a fun place!

My husband and I looked for a sit down restaurant and we found Carousel Cafe. Yes, the interior looks old and outdated, but it's charm is nice. The waitresses were very friendly. The food was so so and a bit high. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and my hubby had the meatloaf dinner. The portions are good. Overall,... More

The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Seating is all booths set in a converted merry-go-round. Food is basic country food (meatloaf, fried chicken, steaks, burgers, etc.), portions are quite generous, and prices are fair.
