Has to be the bizarrest meal I've ever had

We stayed in twenty nine palms as purely a stop off as driving through. I'd read the reviews about this place, most of which said the foods good, the decor isn't. True. We went at the weekend so it was busy, and we had to sit outside. On outdoor garden furniture. It wasn't comfortable. But, you... read more

Stopped in for dinner after a long day at Joshua Tree National Park. WOW! Everything was delicious. The ribs were fantastic. One person in the group had the dry rub, another had the house sauce---both delicious. Another person had a hamburger and wow...that was probably one of the best hamburgers I've eaten ever. A kid ordered the chicken tenders and... More

Stopped in to test out their ribs and found them to be wonderful. That is a good thing as the beans and the rest of the meal were average at best. A half order of ribs were very meaty and were literally falling of the bone when I cut a bone off the rack. Timing is important if you want... More

We have visited Joshua tree N.P 4 times and each visit we have dinned @ the Rib Co. We have tried many of their specialties the the Prime Rib special and the baby back ribs were delicious. The atmosphere is homey and rustic and we have enjoyed the food along with great service.

Thanks to the AAA Tour book, we followed the recommendation to eat here. It was a delight. Ate there twice. Burgers and Cobb salad were top notch as was the staff. If passing by again, I'll stop for another great meal. Get the grilled jalapenos stuffed with cheese!

I had the baby back ribs with the whiskey glaze. The ribs were just a bit tough but a very good flavor. Nice presentation with spicy beans, coleslaw and cornbread muffins with whipped honey butter. Two of our party had burgers which they said were very good. My only criticism would be the price which I thought was somewhat high... More

Not only is the food excellent, great draft beer, perfect fries, but the staff are very welcoming. No need to dress up to get good food! The restaurant looks rough but it is clean inside.

I had amazing ribs for a great price. Great service and delicious food. You can go over and over due to a lot of entrees that are yummy to eat!

Oh, the ribs are good! We were tired and hungry after driving for a few hours. It was dark in 29 Palms and it was slim-pickens when it came to places to eat. Always a sucker for barbeque, we navigated the bumpy parking lot and got a seat in the small dining room. Not much for ambiance or temperature control... More
