My wife and I had the sampler platter which featured 5 different preparations and varieties (spare, short, beef, etc). Each was prepared differently. It was a great way to sample the menu. Very generous portions which we were ready for after 12 mles of hiking in Joshua Tree National Park! Corn Muffins were delicious. Beans were average. Good service--prompt and... More

After reading the reviews for the Rib Co. I was looking for a great meal. I was wrong. The waitress did not seem to want to be bothered by us. Ordered steak and ribs. When the waitress asked us what side dishes we wanted with the meal so rudely placed the menu back in front of my wife and told... More

Our family loves ribs! We have had ribs all over the country and our family voted these the best. They smoke their ribs all day. The rub is just right and the BBQ sauce has just the right balance of sweet, tart, and kick! Their sides are all in house home made. Perfect Mac and cheese! Homemade chips are yummy!... More

The restaurant looks kind of 'simple'.... but don't underestimate the quality of their food ! Ribs were just perfect.... tender, spicy, lots of meat.... mmmmm.... Loved it ! Extra interesting for Holiday Inn Express guests: it's only a few hundred/meters yeards away ..... (and they have Sam Adams!)

We had spent the day in 107' heat at Joshua Tree National Park and were quite hungry when we arrived for dinner just before sundown. When we drove up I almost told my spouse to keep driving--it looked old and run down--faded signs, not much ambiance. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the interior was and how overwhelmingly friendly... More

The place is small and we near missed it. They still served food quite late in the evening which was a perfect end of the day after enjoying the sunset at the National Park. We liked the artless but too us very "American" atmosphere. Very clean place, very attentive service. The steak was very good, but the rib combo was... More

Being European we are not spoilt when it comes to eating ribs (1/2 Dry Rub - don't go for 1/1 unless you are a T-Rex) but at Rib Co we ate the best I can ever remember having. Coleslaw side was also delicious as were the beans (I am told - not a great beans fan myself), didn't care much... More

We (Swiss couple, 30/27yrs) were on a cross-country road trip when we stopped at The Rib & Co. The portions are almost Texan size ;) The meat was great! And we could even sit outside (ok, only foreigners do that - all the Americans were inside next to the AC).

got the dry rub ribs like my son did! They were OUTSTANDING ribs ($15.99 1/2 slab w/2 sides). We've eaten lots of ribs around the country --- and have an incredible smoker and finally quit eating ribs out because I can make 'em better for cheaper than restaurants. Was in 29Palms spending time with my US Marine son and we... More
