We were looking for a place to eat after spending time in Joshua National park. The hotel recommended The Rib Co and it was only a half mile from where we were staying. It didn't look like much from the outside (or inside) but the BBQ was really good. We had BBQ brisket and onion rings and potato salad. All... More

We spent a night in Twentynine Palms after visiting Joshua Tree National Park and this place was recommended by our hotel staff. Oustanding recommendation. The restaurant had a local feel and was fairly busy on a Tuesday night, but we didn't have to wait for a table and the service was relatively quick. As the title says, their focus is... More

Great tasty food, home prepared daily , hand cut fries, nothing frozen here. We would have been put off by the basic looking restaurant if it hadn't been recommended but enjoyed all the food.

The Ribs and other meats are smoked right in the front year. The meat and the cornbread are great; the beans so-so (too much sauce). Try the ribs with just the rub.

Have eaten here several times and always enjoy the meal, especially on a nice evening to sit outside and enjoy the desert coolness and clear night sky. Have had the ribs several times and always a delight - the rib sampler is usually my go to since I have such a hard time choosing which to have they are all... More

When I returned from Nevada to Coachella valley on the back roads I stopped in at this place for dinner and was it ever great. Very friendly service, great ribs. Take a look at the pictures.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am visiting 29. The food is good. Love those ribs! The waitress even remembered me from when I was there the first time! Very nice and personable! The prices are good too!

My husband and I had a T-bone steak and a sirloin steak the The Rib Co., both steaks with salads and baked potatoes. The place doesn't look of much, but the food is VERY good - really good meat and salads, and the waiter was really nice, too.

My wife and I had the sampler platter which featured 5 different preparations and varieties (spare, short, beef, etc). Each was prepared differently. It was a great way to sample the menu. Very generous portions which we were ready for after 12 mles of hiking in Joshua Tree National Park! Corn Muffins were delicious. Beans were average. Good service--prompt and... More
