The wait was worth it!

Very basic, wood-panelling decor inside, in keeping with the BBQ theme. We had a long wait for our main meals, about an hour, maybe more - an appetizer would have helped had we known. I did get my green salad during that time - very boring iceberg lettuce and cucumber with bottled dressing. BUT... read more

My son got the 1/2 beef ribs and 1/2 baby back ribs with the mashed pots and salad and biscuits. He said they were the best he ever ate. It is a really popular place. No longer delivers but you can pick up.

My partner and I visited after this place was recommended locally and I wish we had gone elsewhere. The nadir was finding a long hair in C's meal and being told not to worry by the fearsome woman in charge - "It can't be from one of the cooks because they're all men". She did offer a replacement, but told... More

Dropped in for an early dinner. Noticed trucks with Texas plates in the lot. The aroma of cooking meat was enticing. This is a small restaurant on the main drag in 29 Palms. Nothing fancy, but they had excellent service and great food. I bypassed the special of the day, prime rib, and went for a Porterhouse. Good decision. The... More

On out one night in 29 Palms, decided to try the Rib Company. Its a basic, honest American restaurant serving ribs, steaks and burgers etc. My half rack of ribs was huge, but needed more sauce. Fries were good. Service efficient and friendly.

We arrived after a very long drive to a very crowded restaurant. They offered seating outside, and while there was a breeze, it wasn't unpleasant. We were served our drinks (my husband and I enjoyed the Moose Drool beer) but my son, who has a disability, just couldn't handle being out there. I don't know if it was the breeze,... More

I saw the other reviews and came. After ordering, I was informed that the half chicken wasn't ready yet, so I decided on the beef ribs. The nachos I ordered were covered in fake, disgusting cheese. When we finally got our order over a half-hour later, I was disappointed that the ribs were so skimpy on the meat. The cole... More

This is a very popular place, for in-restaurant dining and take out. Long wait to get your food, but it is good. Fresh grilled right outside. Delicious whisky sauce on chicken and ribs. Yummy corn bread muffins.

We visited here almost a year ago and remembered a nice experience. This again was a great choice in twenty nine palms. We had the rib sampler and split it. Excellent dinner and great service!!

We stayed in twenty nine palms as purely a stop off as driving through. I'd read the reviews about this place, most of which said the foods good, the decor isn't. True. We went at the weekend so it was busy, and we had to sit outside. On outdoor garden furniture. It wasn't comfortable. But, you could see the chef... More
