Local beer house with good burgers

A group of old friends decided to meet for an early dinner in Martinez since we are homed all over the greater San Francisco Bay Area and one has a particularly long drive. The food totally sucks. Frozen and pre packaged stuff. Great selection of beer but they wouldn't let me purchase a bottle of wine. Had to do by the glass. Not good dude.

Not being a drinker I cannot comment on their drinks but it seems they offer tons of beers. Their food is typical bar food. They do have a vegetarian option, which is nice. Try their fried Oreos for dessert. Very tasty.

Great beer selection (lots of beers, although not a big selection of lager-type beers) and good eats. Friendly staff. The burgers and appetizers are all good!

A typical brew pub with wine and ciders too. Not a huge menu, but a good variety. We love the wings, spicy. Salads and sandwiches good, not anything too unusual.

this tidy little restaurant in downtown Martinez was an enjoyable find. our party of seven was graciously greeted and accommodated by the staff for a sumptuous luncheon. There was plenty of room to enjoy the different craft ales on tap along with a varied menu. we had a taste of about everything and enjoyed ourselves immensely. we highly recommend this... More

The menu wasn't all that exciting and though my chicken sandwich was good, it's not a restaurant that i feel any need to return to. But if you like your beer, this might be the place for you.

Creek Monkey is the closest thing we have to a local Pub. They an excellent variety of beer from light ales to heavy stouts including seasonal selections. They source beers from local and regional producers and there always seems to be something new. Their food is equally terrific. Their menu has all the standards you'd expect in a Pub and... More

I have been here maybe 15 times since it opened. I really do like this place and I keep coming back. The good: If you want to get down with an ever rotating selection of (often hyper local) Bay Area beers in a funky old house with great outdoor seating, this is the spot. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable... More

We were in town for a baseball tournament and always like to check out a local establishment. My hubby likes brew pubs...so this was out stop. It's in a cute little house. The food was outstanding! I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a mixed green salad, my son had a chicken parm sandwich, and dh had the roja vieja... More
