The weather and light were poor and the wind was high forcing lift closures so we retreated to the Hospice for lunch. We were a large group and got a great table inside. Service was prompt and efficient and the staff attentive and for a large group we were served quickly. We lingered over sweets and coffee in a very... More

Lunchtime visit to Hospiz by our group was a great success. Most opted for the chicken Wienerschnitzl with fries, which was very good. My potato soup with wienerli was even better, full of flavour and a great way to warm up on a cold day. The wine list was extensive and offered something for everyone. I've seen comments about slow... More

Quick coffee break while skiing - best not go here - about 20 minutes from order to getting 1 cup coffee - not so hot and @ 4 Euros not so hot value either. Overrated.

Great food although service was a tad slow. The interior was warm and cosy and covered with photos of famous diners. They have an outstanding wine cellar by all accounts and a slide alternative (which we used and where I nearly took my friend's head off) to the stairs to the toilets. There's some interesting wine articles and artefacts too.... More

My family and I visited Hospiz for lunch during a day of skiing in St Anton/St Christoph. What really makes this place is the atmosphere - great decor, a lovely open fire, friendly staff in traditional Tyrolean outfits and a slide down to the toilet which kids of all sizes (mainly adults I noticed!) can enjoy. Portion sizes are very... More

During the day it is probably the best skihutte at the arlberg and in the evening it turns into an great fine dining restaurant. My recommendation for the evening is the whole duck for two.

Great place in St Christoph on your way down the slope. Full of wood and charm, very busy so service was average but friendly. Warm lovely atmosphere with some live music at times. The food was excellent but very big portions if you plan on skiing afterwards. A great place and definitely on the list when in the area.

We ate a delicious lunch in this lively restaurant where the staff wear traditional Austrian Lederhosen. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious and filling and the prices not too bad. We are ribs and chips, roast beef, gulasch suppe and the cold platter but the best of all was the pudding - Kaiserschmarm which is chopped up pancake flambeed... More
