Ok, so defaulting to pizza is lazy but after a bar crawl down the home run what could be better. Lovely staff, recognised one from last time we were there. Pizza was great as usual and the place was buzzing and very busy. Despite this we didn't have to wait long for our food.

We went to Pizzeria Pomodoro on our hotel's staff day off with a group of 11. We were seated quickly at two adjacent tables and drinks orders promptly taken. Food was delivered quickly and service was excellent. The food is not fancy (pizza and pasta) but was made with fresh ingredients (fresh basil, mushrooms etc), generous portions and the prices... Typical italian restaurant where the food is "average" and is always crowded so you need to book in advance. Quite cheap and fast to be served so it is not a bad option if you do not mind the food.

We had been there in a group of 10. Some had Pizza, some Pasta. What they call Pizza is the name not worth!! It is not tacky, crispy and the topping has no taste. The pasta we could pimp with chilly oil to become accaptable. I can recomend the salat. It's fresh and good. Service is really quick. The place... More

We have read many things about that restaurant on the net. Many negative comments: Bad food, slow service, try to sit you with other parties, etc. Well, it didn't make sens to me that we could read so many bad comments about that restaurant and it was packed every single day we walked in front of it. So we decided... More

Two of us had a pizza meal on a Friday night. Had to wait about half an hour. Pizza was very average and had we known this, we would not have waited 30 minutes. Would not o back.

Fantastic place, ambiance and pizzas but very busy. We were a table for 9 and had to wait in the bar next door for an hour which was ok and the bar worked with the restaurnat and said when the table was ready which turned into a 5 and a 4 table. Again not a problem as we were two... More

We were advised by one of the reps that this restaurant is very good for pizzas, they weren't wrong, everyone walked out smiling and full. Get there before 8. It gets very busy and there isn't much space at the bar to wait.

We were pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. Being from NY, we have high standards for pizza and it was very good. Get there early as they don't take reservations
