Gem of a restaurant

Chose the restaurant upon the recommendation of our hotel Madlein and had amazing haute-cuisine food. Even the classic snitzel dish was exquisitely prepared and served. Nice selection of wine too. We had also had succulent layers of amuse bouches. Easily deserves a 4 star rating

For those who appreciate something more than Wiener schnitzel and some beers after a day of ski, try this restaurant in rocking Ischgl! The young and somewhat shy chef serves well-balanced and creative dishes. Some of these are absolutely top (*****) as the tartare and carpaccio of scallops (with a hint of truffle!!) or the soup with citrus we tasted.... More

We've been a couple of times guests of the Yscla, enjoyed it every time. There is something special about the place, i cannot pinpoint it, maybe the friendly service, maybe the cocktails and the music in the cigar bar (belonging to the same hotel)... The food is not boring, austrian traditional meets gourmet kind of food, but worth trying. One... More

I and my brother we decided to enter the doors of this place without any reso. We where dressed casual for the night and we got a "long look" at the door, but they never lost the composer. They treat us nice, they invited us to the lounge to grab a drink wile they were getting the table ready. Once... More

This place is excellent - the food is mostly top notch, michelin style cooking and was not what I expected in a ski resort. There were a lot of amuses bouches - I think we ordered 3 dishes each and received a total of 8 different things to eat - i may not remember them all but this was essentially... More

The food, the look of the dish, the originality of the chef and the special presents that he send to the table !! Magnificent !!! It is really the best in town. Do not leave before you get the last present of the chef: his childhoods memories...

If you want to eat the best "Kaiserschmarrn" in Austria, you definitely have to stop at the Restaurant Yscla. Very friendly and professional service by the owner and a charming female Restaurant Manager. We only tested "simple" food, which was prepared very well. We saw also the plates from the Gourmet Menu, created by the ambitious Chef, Benni, the son... More

I went in here rather reluctantly the other day but came out so grateful that circumstances had taken me there....it was the best meal out (food, service & venue) that I've had in a long time and worth every penny. If you're put off by the price then you'll be missing out :)
