The best schnitzel ever!

Is located in the heart of Zell am See, one of the most traditional places we visited during our ski vacation. If you are a schnitzel fun you definitely have to go! Excellent dishes, great service, very polite and helpful staff. Thank you for the experience!

We visited for dinner... Food was okay but the thing I did not like was we just asked for water and the waitress never asked us tap or mineral and got the mineral water for us anyway.. Later in the bill she charged us 5 euros .. That was really disappointing.. You should ask your guests whether you want tap... More

Having previously had excellent meals here, (and written good reviews) we took our 2 American guests here for a meal. The service was good enough and the waitress very pleasant. The main course Tiroler Gröstl was, at best, mediocre which was disappointing but the Kasnocken was poor, lacking in flavour, no bottom cheese crust (which should build up during the... More

Very authentic "old school" style Austrian place. Traditional Austrian classics and seasonal dishes. Were there on 2 consecutive evenings as the food was that delicious! The staff was charming, very helpful (we always arrived quite late - was no problem) and they had a good portion of "Schmäh" (Austrian kind of humor). The Marillen Schnaps was the best we ever... This was suggested to our party by staff at the Mountain Lake Resort. If you want to try local cuisine then you should come to the Steinerwirt. Two of our group had the wiener schnitzel and after sampling a little I can say we would all recommend it. The food may be slightly more expensive than some restaurants but the... More

Only a quick passing visit but were fit in for a quick dinner without reservation. Best restaurant I tried in Zell.

Very nice food, and although a little pricey, it's understandably very popular, so make sure you reserve a table in the evenings.

We were a party of 40+ and the food was always spot on at dinner which was half board. The breakfast was continental and plentiful. I eat lunch there a few times due to picking up an injury and can certainly recommend the menu. Overall a top experience and thank you to the team of chefs.

Food was great, we got places even with a last minute reservation. Price is slightly higher than most local restaurants but the quality is also slightly better. Great service!

Great atmosphere and tasty traditional food served in this authentic Austrian guesthouse, situated in the heart of Zell am See's old town. Perfect for families and couples. Service is prompt and friendly, the menu offers a mouthwatering selection of typical Austrian cuisine. Portions are generous and the price level fully acceptable when considering quality. We highly recommend having a pre... More
