Dissapointed

Have been here a number of times over the years and always had good service & great food. This Time we had a table of 16, we were put at the back if the restaurant which I understand but we were a little forgotten at times. I think they also went for quantity rather than quality. Would have... read more

I've been to Zell am See many times and the Kupferkessel never fails to impress. Good menu, nice staff, reasonable prices. Make sure you book in advance so as not to be dissappointed especially if you have a big group. I highly recommend the Mammouth Wiener Schnitzel for those who are hungry.

Great service and food, massive portions, the friendliest staff anywhere, toys and colouring for the kids. One of the reasons we come to Zell am See!

Every restaurant should make feel their customer welcome. We waited a long time before being seated, then the waitress rushed taking our order and forgot 1 drink. But the thing I hated the most was the fact that menus for tourist don't have prices but those in German do: bad trick to charge tourists more on their bill. Dishonest!!!!!! Change... More

Been here a couple of times, although its not cheap the food is very nice. They have a wide range of all different types of food. Me and my girlfriend had huge steaks! Which were outstanding.

Great for groups and families. Food and drink a little cheaper than elsewhere in Zell but on a bill of 40€ a10% saving isn't much. We enjoyed ourselves but prefer other places.

Visited this restaurant before and always guaranteed good food and a great atmosphere. Wide choice on the menu and there is an English translated version so you know what you're getting. Very welcoming to families and lots of quirky things on display to fascinate young and old alike. Had the Beef Shashlik which was excellent and will definitely go there... More

Good choice on menu. Good value and service. Nice family atmosphere with many languages spoken! Really enjoyed my Salzburg schnitzel. I couldn't finish it.

We walked into Kupferkessel in the morning to check out the location and cleanliness upon approval we reserved a table. That night we showed up at our reservation slot time and were told there was no such reservation but we could be seated in an area if we ate our meal in two hours! We reluctantly agreed due to it... Had a great meal here (and a few drinks). The staff are very friendly and helpful and there's a good menu, with large portions at reasonable prices. There's some great original decor in the restaurant, so it's worth having a good look around. Located just out of the town centre, but only a short walk. The Wiener Schnitzel is huge!
