Gorgeous Steak

If you fancy a delicious steak then look no further than Cafe Tirol, absolutely delicious. Unlimited salad bar included, which was brilliant.

Looks lovely from the outside, I stopped here a few times for gluhwiens during the day, service nice and friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean and the salad bar and cakes look good. Went here for one evening meal with family, hubby had the salmon fillet which he said was lovely, I opted for a nice steak, it was... More

Coffee and Kuchen, what this place was made for. Enjoy this local dish which is not for the faint hearted. But lovely. I had strudel instead of a main meal and that worked for me.

We had the Cordon Bleu and it was average. The service was extremely slow. The beef steaks are expensive, and if you are looking for a traditional Tirol dish - there are better restaurants around. The Wi-Fi password is 'wireless'

We come to Mayrhofen most years in January for the last 15 years and always make a point of eating at least once in the Cafe Tirol (now Steakhouse Cafe Tirol). There is a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff who speak good English and most other languages if you need that. The food is varied, plentiful and tasty. My only... More

No visit to Mayrhofen is complete without dinner at the Tirol - best ever steaks, year on year. Try the soup with goat dumplings for starters, too - superb.

You will see a sign saying Steakhouse Restaurant rather than Café Tirol. It's situated on the right hand side of the main street in Mayrhofen, about half way up with the entrance set back a bit. You can eat in or out and you do not have to have a full blown meal. There is a good choice of food... More

We were really disappointed in this spot . Recommended on arrival by the reps but fell well short . Would really avoid it . There are many more nice places to go. Definitely the poorest of the week
