I had never had Rhubarb Pie before, and I fell in love. This place is worth a stop for sure. We went twice in a week for a slice. So yummy.

An awesome restaurant with delicious food. Take the detour around back. Rhubarb pie was fantastic and it was a cool little place.

I love baked goods and this is the best pie I have ever eaten. We actually stopped twice while we were in Custer just for pie. We were in Hill City and I went into a fundgeshop only to discover they were serving Purple Pie Place pie who cares about fudge when you can have pie!!! I can't recommend anything... More

We stopped here for lunch. They were very busy. This is a small place so seating is limited. Our lunch was great, highlighted by delicious peanut butter pie, and rhubarb pie.

This is such a unique and charming little restaurant which features homemade pies of all varieties. The crust alone is beautiful with generous fluted edges. We purchased a three berry pie and took it back to our vacation rental. We plan to visit the Purple Pie Place early into our next visit to the Hills so that we can indulge... More

It's been four months and I still think about the pie I ate at the Pie Place. My family of five each had a different pie/dessert and we all loved them! A MUST visit place!

This was a unique little place. The staff was friendly and food was very good. There are actually two parts to this restaurant the front serves various ice creams and "goodies" or you can go to the back portion for a meal. My companions and I all had the homemade chicken pot pie and it was very good and for... More

My wife and I stopped for lunch after visiting Jewel Cave National Monument. We each had the chicken pot pie. It is made from scratch and delicious. Then, we shared a piece (they are large) of the blueberry pie a la mode. It was heavenly. This is a hidden gem.

My husband and I stopped in for pie a la mode during our stay in Custer. We both had Bumbleberry (a combination of several berries) which was warmed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Both were delicious! You need to do this at least once!
