It was fantastic - it was crisp, tasty and fresh. We had to split a piece and get it to go to eat later because we had too much dinner at the burger place. But it was so worth it! Wanted to try many more pies and ice creams, but one can only do so much in a day.

Based on the fantastic reviews, we decided we had to try this place, given that we were staying in Custer. We were enthusiastically not disappointed! The pie was fantastic! I had a kind of pie that the restaurant called Bumbleberry pie, I believe. My spouse had apple pie. Both slices of pie were delicious, and we definitely recommend this place... More

Great pie, the friend that traveled with us is ruined from eating rhubarb pie anywhere else ever again. The kids enjoyed the wide variety of ice cream selections. There was always a long line but plenty of seating outdoors.

While the pies looked delicious, we were not that hungry- mid- afternoon- so we opted for just the ice cream; delicious!! with some unique flavor choices. The cherry ice cream was filled with big pieces of black cherries.....YUM!!

We tried cherry, bumble berry, and peanut butter pie on two visits (my husband got the peanut butter both times). I'm a pie maker myself and I can tell you this place makes most of the pie producers around look pretty shabby. The cherry and bumble berry (a combo on berries and rhubarb) were nicely tart, not overly sticky and... More

We had visited this location in 2008 on our first visit to the area and were greatly looking forward to a return visit. There was a significant noticeable difference in service---this time quite rude and abrupt. It seemed we as customers were a nuisance to them. We likely won't return due to the poor service attitude. The place is charming... More

They were really busy and it was right at lunch time, so there was a bit of a wait for our food. The server was very friendly. The food was not a good as I'd heard or read from the other reviews. We got the chicken pot pie to share and it was ok, but also very small for the... More

I had heard great things about this place from other travelers. Maybe I just had my expectations up, but it didn't taste that great. Macaroni and cheese tasted like just velveeta. Pot pie was rather small for the price. I was thrilled that a side salad came with the macaroni and cheese. The was ok. I had a raspberry rhubarb... More

The atmosphere was good; chicken pot pie was excellent; as was the prime rib panini. Also enjoyed dessert both times we visited. Will visit again.
