Awesome breakfast place

We stopped here base on Trip Advisor reviews, and it won't disappoint! We had an awesome breakfast - my sandwich was too big for me to finish. The vast array of baked goods were very tempting and we did take a brownie with us....wow was it good! The service was very fast, there was a line after we... read more

We went here for breakfast because of 5 star reviews on TA. It was clean, fast, friendly, excellent value, excellent food. We got routine breakfasts, but were very sorely tempted to get one of the yummy looking bakery treats instead. Good coffee. You won't be disappointed. This place is a real gem.

We are local Custer residents. Baker's offers a local special which is a reduced price on one of the breakfast meals. We asked at the beginning of the meal whether they still do this special in winter (have only eaten at Baker's a couple other times, so I'm unfamiliar with their policies.) After ordering the local special, our waitress came... More

I am sorry that you felt that way. I remember when the waitress asked if you were local and I didn't know. I actually told her to just ask for id, we do that quite often, since we are not open all winter we don't know everyone. Lorae (your waitress) is actually a very kind hearted girl that was so... We stayed in Custer a number of days, and would have returned every day if they weren't closed a couple of days (one for cleaning?) Our party agreed, the breakfast was very good. As someone else said, the green chili gravy on the burrito was phenomenal (split it, it's huge). The pastries and donuts were spot on perfect. Great breakfast... More

We ate there twice (unfortunately) due to most everything being closed for the season.) The servers were obviously busy and harried. The food was quite subpar and seemed frozen/re-heated. The caramel roll was very good though, but everything else was very average, bordering on below average.

We ate here our first morning in Custer. Breakfast burrito and Denver scramble. Huge portions and delicious. Be sure to get the green chile sauce. It's outstanding. We missed the sticky buns that morning because they were sold out. We returned the morning we left and got 2 for the road. They were outrageously good!

After reading the reviews, we decided to stop here for breakfast. None of us tried the sticky buns that looked amazing when you first walked in. It could be we were intimidated by the side. The breakfast burrito was very tasty and filling. 3 out of 5 of us ordered the burrito. The omelette and pancakes were good too. Fast... More

We had breakfast at Baker's the other day. Our food was well prepared and quite tasty. We had what amounted to an omelet on top of chunky fried potatoes with onions and ham. I also had a glazed donut which was adequate. The coffee had some kind of odd taste about it, but it was morning so I drank it.... More
