Love the buffalo stew

They use the Lakota name for bison, I think, but we call it buffalo stew, and it is delicious. The view out the windows is of Crazy Horse mountain, of course, and it's nicely air conditioned. In the back they serve Blue Bell ice cream. My Texas cousins swear by it.

Bean soup was Good and tacos great. Service was excellent. Beautiful view of the mountain from our table. The price was very reasonable... $5 for a glass of wine.

We had lunch here while visiting the Memorial. The menu offers a typical selection of dishes at reasonable prices. There was a short wait for a table to become available but despite how busy they were on the day, the food was well prepared and the service acceptable.

While we thoroughly enjoyed Crazy Horse Memorial, the food at the restaurant there leaves a lot to be desired. I was elated to see Buffalo Burger on the menu as it's my favorite. However, what I got was an obviusly previously frozen thin burger that was seriously overdone. It did not taste like buffalo at all. It was more like... More

Love the name of this restaurant. The atmosphere is good. The building is beautiful, clean, and large. Food is very good and priced right-affordable with value. We would go here again if visiting the area.

This restaurant offers good food with a great view of the Crazy Horse monument. Our server was very friendly. There is an extensive menu and salad bar but my entire family ordered the Native American Taco so I can only review that dish- it was delicious. They even accommodated me with a vegetarian version. Since we do not have a... More

This is a restaurant inside the Crazy Horse memorial area that serves local food. The selection is very good, with a fairly wide variety of types and costs of foods. The stew that my friend had is excellent, and I had a burger that was pretty good. The fries were cooked perfectly for me and the chicken soup was homemade... More

Great food and reasonably priced. Large portions. My wife and I shared a salad which satisfied both of us. Good service.

Had the Tatanka Buffalo Stew with Indian Fry Bread. Stew tasted like beef stew, but it wasn't seasoned well. Fry bread was cut into four slices and stuck into the stew making the edges soggy, which I didn't like. I've had the best fry bread made by the Pueblos in New Mexico and this didn't live up to that. Tried... More
