Good bison, average fare, reasonable prices

Not many choices in Custer in the winter, so this was it. Bison chili was good, grilled cheese average. Waitress very nice. Typical small town cafe.

I had one of there giant pancakes and it was great. This restaurant has a home town feel and noticed a number of locals having breakfast there.

After a long day fishing in June, we decided to head in to Custer for dinner. We got there a good 45 min before closing but were told they can't seat us because they'd already shut the kitchen for the night. We ended up going all the way to Rapid to eat. I doubt I'd give this place another shot... More

Good food with good rates. When we visited this place was not open for dinner. Had both breakfast and lunch here and both were good. Service was great! We stayed at the Rocket Motel and because of this we received 10% off.

We ate breakfast here 2 different days, and we wished they were open for dinner. The prices were very reasonable, and the breakfast were excellent. The staff were also great.

Good service. Biggest best pancake I've ever had. Gigantic means gigantic! Husband had the best chicken fried steak he's ever had. Quick! We'd both do it again in a heartbeat!

We ate here while staying in Custer. The service was prompt and the good was delicious. The guys in the group tried the bison stew and found it to be great. Another tried the breakfast. When her bacon was not real crispy she asked to have it cooked a little more. Instead the waitress brought her a new serving, cooked... More

From the pics and reviews online, we were not sure about this place, but we decided to try it. We ate breakfast here and it was very good. The inside was very cute and clean. It was not very busy, so we seated ourselves and food was ordered and served within 15 minutes. Our waitress was very sweet. Prices matched... More

The service was friendly. They had plenty of food options and they actually made it the way it was ordered. Good food, nice place. Reasonable prices.
