Perfect Toast

No joke, the rye toast that came with my Denver omelet was perfect. Had a late Monday morning breakfast here on our way to sightseeing fun in the Black Hills. Had the place to ourselves, and still felt at home. Clean restaurant, nice folks. Breakfast was terrific. Served hot and tasted great... read more

We stopped here for breakfast one morning and it was pretty good. The pancakes are huge! The place was for sale when we stopped so not sure if things will be changing in the near future or not.

Go for the blueberry pancake, but be warned that it is bigger than the plate! The first time we ate here in 1998, we didn't know how large they were and my hubby ordered 2. Now we order 1 and split it with separate sides of bacon or sausage for each. I was disappointed that they are no longer serving... More

Not many choices in Custer in the winter, so this was it. Bison chili was good, grilled cheese average. Waitress very nice. Typical small town cafe.

I had one of there giant pancakes and it was great. This restaurant has a home town feel and noticed a number of locals having breakfast there.

After a long day fishing in June, we decided to head in to Custer for dinner. We got there a good 45 min before closing but were told they can't seat us because they'd already shut the kitchen for the night. We ended up going all the way to Rapid to eat. I doubt I'd give this place another shot... More

Good food with good rates. When we visited this place was not open for dinner. Had both breakfast and lunch here and both were good. Service was great! We stayed at the Rocket Motel and because of this we received 10% off.

We ate breakfast here 2 different days, and we wished they were open for dinner. The prices were very reasonable, and the breakfast were excellent. The staff were also great.
