Have eaten here a few time during our travels to the Hills. Our lodging had a deal for a breakfast and we have used it and other times ordered off the menu.

This restaurant was recommended for breakfast by one of the local volunteers at The Custer County 1881 Court House Museum. She was right. The Wrangler Café has limited hours. Currently they open at 6AM and close at 3PM. Seating is also limited but comfortable. The wait staff helps one another out so no patron(s) is/are left unattended. Efficiency through teamwork... More

My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. We have tried several other restaurants in town and this was the best!

Our hire offer $1.99 breakfast vouchers for The Wrangler. We decided to give it a try. Well worth the price. The waitress was very friendly and fast. Between the four of us we had eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, two different toasts and coffee. The only complaints: the sausage had a strange texture (like brown and serve links) and the... This was our second visit to Custer. We really like the feel of the town. My husband and I stayed at the Chief motel that offered $1.99 vouchers for breakfast at Wrangler Cafe. The businesses in Custer do try to work out interrelated deals with one another as a survival tactic in this somewhat distant part of the world, or... More

If you like Chicken Fried Steak from the freezer, you will be happy there. The Chili was greasy and very tomatoey. We won't go back.

It's already been said by others--great food, great service, and fine prices. We ate here twice--one breakfast and one lunch--during a five-day visit to Custer. We've eaten here before, so we knew what a good deal we were getting. It's a fine choice for breaking out from motel food!

I ate breakfast here because of a real bargain deal offered by my motel and thought that the service or something else might suffer because of that. Not so at all. The service and food were both quite good and it's definitely conveniently located.

We were hungry after exploring and hiking in the morning. Stopped in for lunch and it was great. Friendly staff. Good food.
