Friendly staff and cheap options for breakfast, but greasy and flavorless. Skip if you can. Really not worth it.

Good but not great food. Nothing exciting or creative, just decent food. Weak coffee. Typical cafe menu with standard fare. The breakfast burrito is served with a side of Pace picante sauce -- blah.

Another local eating establishment with excellent service. Again, we shared a meal and were well-satisfied when done. Large portions, reasonably priced. Prompt and courteous service. Outdoor eating. Not for you if you have difficulty with stairs.

Unofficially, the adults eat on one side and the families with terrible children eat on the other side! We were on the children's side -- a mistake. Good food, nice waitress. We got a 10% discount because we were staying in the Rocket Motel, across the street.

Good food, great pricing, basically your typical small town American diner. Mostly older folks in there when we went.

Our premise that you can't mess up breakfast was challenged in South Dakota a few times but in this place it was OK. Nothing special on the menu, no selection of teas beyond hot or iced but that can be expected, service fairly efficient but not really friendly but all in all not bad. There seemed to be lots of... We just went here for breakfast but it was really good and very reasonably priced. My husband had a standard eggs, ham, hash browns with pancakes and I had 1 biscuit with gravy and a side of eggs/hashbrowns. The place is clean and decent looking but not fancy. The service was great! My husband couldn't drink his coffee fast enough,... More

No joke, the rye toast that came with my Denver omelet was perfect. Had a late Monday morning breakfast here on our way to sightseeing fun in the Black Hills. Had the place to ourselves, and still felt at home. Clean restaurant, nice folks. Breakfast was terrific. Served hot and tasted great. Hubby is super picky about egg prep, he... More
