A friend took me here for breakfast, food was excellent and a very good rate. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. I had dinner as well on another visit, the menu lacked variety but was decent.
I live in Rapid City, SD, and I like to eat there when I come down to Custer. You can tell the employee's enjoy their job and care about your experience there. Wonderful stop! Great impression on my first time in South Dakota. Service was exceptional. When we wanted both types of fries, we all got both for the price of one.
I make this my breakfast stop whenever I am in Custer as the service has always been friendly and the food has always been good! The coffee cup is never empty. The restrooms are clean. What more could you ask for?

On our trip to the hills we ate breakfast at the Wrangler Cafe twice. Excellent breakfast, coffee, wait staff and reasonable prices. Was a good start to the day. I highly recommend it.
