We stopped here for a late lunch after becoming concerned about the lack of restaurants open in the off season. We had a lovely meal in great atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome even though they were closing for the season in 5 days. Would definitely go back.

We were enjoyin our drive thru Custer State Park, it was about 3PM and we were hungry, suddenly we drove by the Blue Belle and gave it a try. Walked in and the woodsy smell from the fireplace with the elk above reminded me of the Big Moose Inn at Millinocket Lake,ME. It was a welcome sight. Service was friendly... More

We were lucky to be driving through off season and stopped for lunch. The restaurant was clean and the food adequate. What make this place special is the building, location and decor. It was also very clean.

We stopped here for a late lunch during a drive through Custer State Park in the middle of October. Because this was the very end of tourist season, we weren't sure what to expect. The service was outstanding, and all four of us enjoyed our food. This was a quick and easy place to enjoy a sit-down lunch with our... More

We were touring Custer National Park and on our way to the wildlife loop when we came upon this charming restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice with a great stone fireplace complete with a fire on a cold October day. Lunch was very good and the service as well. Two of us had the pulled buffalo and it was good.... We were relieved to find this nice lodge after a long drive with no services. And, better yet, lunch was very good. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a glass of California wine while waiting for our lunch. It was nice to find a delicious and very satisfying fresh salad among the more traditional offerings. Good service and... More

We stopped here on accident with two very tired toddlers after the Buffalo Roundup. We were afraid that it would be packed and slow due to the roundup, but we got right in. The staff was very good, and it was one of the best meals we had on our 8 day vacation. Very nice dining room, and nice bar... More

My mother and I went here for lunch and it was wonderful. They were very nice and service was great. We have been there for the Mother's Day Brunch and that is very worth the money. Just call for reservations about 4 days in advance. It is very affordable.

It was cold due to a snowy day, so the large fire place was on and the views out the large windows were beautiful. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Friendly staff.

Sorry but their pitiful fried chicken was awful. My wife's meal was not much better. The grits served with my chicken tasted like corn meal rather than grits! Very expensive and waiter had difficulties speaking English well enough for us to understand. Sad excuse for a restaurant.
