We ate here for breakfast on our last morning camping and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice, dark logs, saddle stools in the bar, drinks in mason jars. The wait staff was very very good. Breakfast was served late, which was nice as we hopped off our horses next door and came in hungry. Next trip, I think... More

Family had Bison burger and the chicken quesadillas. Both were very good. Great location in the park.

My husband and I ate lunch at the Blue Bell while visiting Custer State Park. Our waiter was quite attentive and friendly. He checked on us frequently before and after serving our food. My husband had the buffalo burger and was quite pleased with it. I had a Caesar salad, and it was very tasty as well though the chicken... More

We had a group function and decided to have lunch here. First of all, I had no say in the matter so I just went with it. Plus it was free. I would not personally choose this place again. The decor is nice and waitress was good but the food was not worth the price, even for free. I had... More

Since we been out here in the Black Hills, I been trying out buffalo burgers at various opportunities and I have to give a excellent review for the chef who cooks the burgers here at lunch time. Mine was cooked just right with little pink in the middle, juicy, seasoned just right. One of the best tasting burgers I ever... More

We were very hungry after seeing all the buffalo on Wildlife Loop Rd. on our day trip to CSP. Thankfully, I had asked one of the park rangers at the Peter Norbeck Visitor Center for a place that we could stop and eat at in the park. I was pleasantly surprised by the appealing western-style decor of this restaurant. The... More

Stopped here for a quick lunch after riding through the park. We had the beef burgers which were juicy and tender. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying this out for a quick meal.

We order buffalo entrees, of course. I had buffalo stew and dh had the buffalo meat loaf. Our mashed potatoes were delicious, too. The waiter came out with cornbread before we even ordered, and there was delicious butter with honey on the table for us. What a treat! Service was excellent, food was appealing to see and taste, and the... More

I really want to like the Bluebell Lodge. And I do like the setting in a log building along with the backstory of how it came upon it's name. The Service was OK. The waiter was working hard and did a good job keeping the beverages filled. The Food....Uninspired, bland and worst....cold. The Food also didn't come out at the... More

We stopped for lunch and when we were seated there were very few people in the dining room. The waiter took our drink order and eventually brought it to us. Meanwhile the restaurant was filling up and people all around us were getting their meal orders taken and having their cornbread delivered to the table - all before our meal... More
