Nice lunch stop

Enjoyed having lunch here as we toured the beautiful park. Rustic setting. Bison burger was really good!

Had a very reasonably priced breakfast here, sat at outdoor patio with squirrel companion. Relaxing setting and great wood cabin look to lodge.

TOTAL WASTE of MONEY!!! My family and i were able to see much more by just driving around Custer state park by our selves. Food was lunch room quality at best.

State side reception staff and Rory, our South African Waiter provided a delightful stay and the meals for the 5 days spent there were enjoyable no matter what time of day or evening.

We were staying at Blue Bell Lodge and were tired from traveling to get there so had an early dinner at the on-site restaurant. That was a good decision. I'd been sampling buffalo burgers across Colorado and South Dakota so chose the buffalo “melt” burger (American cheese, caramelized onions, on sourdough) with cowboy beans. Both were delicious and comforting on... More

It was the end of the season and the owner told us that they would be closing in a few days. The dining area was nearly empty and the menu was a bit limited but it was fine. We were seated in the bar area which was interesting because of the 'decorations'. We ordered a light lunch and were given... More

My husband and I ate here for lunch while staying in Custer State park as part of our honeymoon road trip. We had already eaten at the Lake Legion Lodge so we decided to stop here on our way to the wild life loop. We both had burgers and they we both enjoyed them. Nothing too fancy or extraordinary but... So we were staying at the pricier State Game Lodge but realized we weren't going to make it back for dinner while trying to navigate the wildlife loop. We stopped here instead and are very glad we did. I've already reviewed the Lodge's room, so I'm not going to bother with the food there other than to say it matched... More

Breakfast or dinner fantastic food, exceptional staff. Family friendly providing crayons and coloring book to children. Good selection . My favorite was the cashew crusted walleye entree. The best walleye I have ever tasted!
