Of course, it is the only place around, if you are staying at teh Game Lodge, but they do not take advantage of that fact. The food iquality s good, with adequate variety and service was great.

We had dinner here twice. Both nights the food was excellent. The first night I had elk osso bucco; the second night I tried the bison sirloin. The elk was outstanding, served with a lovely risotto. My husband ordered it the second night after tasting mine the first night. Our four kids all found something they enjoyed on the menu... More

We wandered into this restaurant around 8 pm after a long day of traveling and setting up camp. Although the restaurant clientele were mostly old rich folks in better attire than ours, we were treated courteously and attentively. Our selections were excellent: reuben sandwich with homemade sauerkraut and a spinach salad wonderfully dresses with a raspberry vinaigrette topped with honey... More

had the buffet lunch one. day. gave me a chance to try the buffalo stew without ordering a whole meal of buffalo. lots of other choices as well. (wasn't crazy about the buffalo meat). rest was good. desserts ok. nothing to die for.

This isn't a McDonald's experience. Expect to pay accordingly, try unique dishes, and enjoy the historic dining room. Staff at dinner were top notch, helpful, efficient. Breakfast includes a buffet which helps get you on your way for the day.

We had dinner and breakfast in the lodge and enjoyed both. We found the food very good. Service was great and we found the server and other staff very friendly. It is a little expensive but it is still a wonderful place to eat. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Myself, husband and our two sons (13 & 5) decided to eat here for lunch since we were doing the Buffalo Safari Tour that’s located pretty much next door. We were a little hesitant because we didn’t know what to expect but for the most part we really enjoyed our food. On top of that, we had the most pleasant... More

We had breakfast here one morning and our last dinner before we left. Breakfast is a reasonable buffet with eggs, bacon, pastries, juice, french toast, waffle station, etc. all included in the price. Dinner was great, the Elk oso buco (off the bone) was fantastic (never had elk closest comparison would be veal). They had other game dishes. Bison is... More

Had hopes that we would be seated in their nicer dining room but we were told we needed a reservation. Kind of a surprise for a Monday. Saw three empty tables in the room after we went to use the restroom a little later. So perhaps legit, but felt like hostess didn't have much interest in seating us as requested.... More
