good food, friendly atmosphere(the 2nd time we went)-- the first time we didn't stay as they were not taking credit cards and the attitude was not very friendly.. glad we gave them a second chance-- a bit pricey tho for the shrimp-- the soups are delicious

Choices of restaurants dwindle in the off season in Custer but the Captain's Table is open and it was great. It sits a little off the road almost hidden by another building so we missed finding it our first drive through but I am glad we were persistent because the food, service, and pricing were great.

Umbrella drinks good. Had chopped buffalo steak, wife had chopped sirloin. Homemade clam chowder soup excellent.busy holiday weekend 5 min wait for seating.Service was good. It was warm because of incandescent lighting, if they switched to led or CF, they could save on customers and electricity. ad chopped sirloin

Very good food. Atmosphere was better than expected for a small mountain town. I had the buffalo steak while my husband had the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp . Both were delicious and reasonably priced.

We wanted a steak so we went there. We the first time ordered the prime rib. It was really good. We enjoyed it so much that the night before we left we went back. They give you large portions but both times the steaks were really cooked to our requests. Salad & baked potatoes were really good. The service was... More

Our tour guide recommended Captain's Table for an enjoyable evening--and he knew what he was talking about! We enjoyed drinks outside and then savored a wonderful prime rib dinner with piping hot baked potatoes. The homemade seafood bisque was incredible. The prices were reasonable and the staff very accomodating! The prime rib is not to miss!!

great meal, had the prime rib. Good drinks and sides, prime rib was done exactly as ordered. it was recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel and another person we asked. They both said it was expensive but it was $60 for two with a drink each and the meal, we were fine with that. Dress is casual since... More
