We have eaten here plenty of times since they opened about 15 years ago. Something has changed. The service was awful and the food was terrible. The Caesar Salad which is supposed to be made of romaine was made with spring mix greens. Very disappointed.

Very nice little "bistro" like grille; the bison stroganoff was very good; the walleye was OK but a little dry. They have a decent wine list.

My wife and I had a good meal here but we were less than happy with our server who seemed to wan't to get us out as quickly as possible - despite other tables being available. Plates were removed almost before the last mouthful had been eaten, and the bill was put down almost before my wife had finished eating.... More

This was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The walnut and blue cheese bruschetta was very unique and delicious. We tried 4 different sandwiches from the menu and every morsel was finished. If we are back in Custer, this would be a definite repeat.

Maybe a little bit pricey for what you get, but some really nice dishes. Definitely different dishes, seasonings and sides. Good local beers. It is a very nice place you can stop into while walking through town. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, and nice seating. Service was very friendly and attentive. I wouldn't say the food is fantastic,... More

My husband and I had dinner here on Thursday, 9/18. Atmosphere was casual and clean. We had the artichoke dip app and that was very good but the salmon dinner was dry and the sauce on top was so cold it was almost frozen. Overall very average experience.

Definitely not a typical burger and fries place, although they do serve them! The buffalo stroganoff was something new this time, and it was very good. I don't think you'd go wrong with any of their menu items. We've been here several times on different visits and enjoyed it every time. I really recommend this place!

My husband and I had dinner here with our 5 year old daughter on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was good, it's a cute little grille with bar, on the casual side. The service was fair, our waitress could've been more attentive and friendly. I opted for a Caesar salad, my husband had the walleye, and our daughter had chicken... More

On our Grand Tour around Mount Rushmore, we stopped in Custer, SD for lunch - picking an interesting-looking small café named Sage Creek Grille. Great choice! Not expensive and worth the price. Quick, courteous service. I have to say that their BLT with blue cheese spread is, by far, the BEST BLT I've ever had - anywhere! Unique menu.
