It had been a year since my last visit to New Orleans and Zea, but the wonderful previous meal made it a mandatory return dining experience.... Last time around, the food was close to great accompanied by mediocre service, but on this occasion everything was simply outstanding! It is difficult for this writer to believe that such a casual establishment... More

Rarely does one stumble upon a wonderful meal for a very reasonable price for a family of five. The rib eye and veal were superb as was the appetizers. The shrimp appetizers, both, were superb. The red beans and rice as well as the corn grits were excellent. So much food was left over we could have shared entrees. The... More

We took the street car here for lunch during "Coolinary Month" in August. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I had Asian spiced edamame and fish tacos. The flavors were spot on. Nice spice and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Miso glazed shrimp which, was the best dish of the meal. He then had the tenderloin with a... More

My wife and I took a nice evening streetcar ride around 7:30 pm from our hotel on St. Charles Avenue to come to eat here. This was our 1st visit here, so we wanted to check it out. We walked right in, met by a nice lady & was seated very quickly! We were served by a waiter named Joshua... More

Our favorite location is the original location at Hickory & Citrus. Great for lunch and dinner. Rotisserie meats are all good. Innovative menu. Casual but upscale dining. A definite cut above Applebee's or Olive Garden. Approaching a Houston's or J Alexander's. Worth the trip.

We went to Zeas' just to hang out with each other. We had the fish, ribs and the cheesy grits. The staff is so wonderful. They made sure we were happy with our meal and even suggested some others. The food was amazing. Will definitely keep going back.

I have been to New Orleans 4 times. Zea's was recommended to me by a friend on my 1st visit and I loved it! Every time that I visit nola now, I go to get me some good cooking! And on top of that, the staff always treats you like family.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and this was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in New Orleans. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of pointers. There was another couple with us and we each decided to try sometime different so that we could "share". Our serves brought us a complimentary Spicy... More
