When we sat down after ordering at the counter I looked around. Adorning their walls was an ungodly amount of passive aggressive signs on the wall. Sign after sign was telling us to not be mean, don't be a dick, etc. I wandered into the bathroom and there were more passive aggressive signs. Basically the staff flipped me off using... More

If you're in the mood for BBQ in New Orleans this is your only real choice. The Joint has real BBQ, not just something called BBQ. There meats are properly slow smoked with a deep smoke ring. Nothing fancy, basics sides, and reall good meat.

Just had to visit another Diners, Drive-ins and Dives joint while in the New Orleans area and I'm so glad we did. THIS PLACE ROCKS. Best DDD Joint in New Orleans. The waitress was from San Diego area so we had a great chat with her and she gave us some great ideas of other places to visit. I will... More

BBQ at The Joint. Worth the drive but don't walk! Ribs and chili very good. Brisket was a little dry. Safe and clean from what I experienced. Only eight tables and 10 bar stools but no problem getting in on a Tuesday night. Friendly staff!

We were staying at a B&B up the street from this well-known local hangout and after the usual explorations in the French Quarter over several days, we finally made some time to come in and have some ribs, which are the signature dish at this establishment. We had a party of four and had just rescued our rental car from... More

This out of the way restaurant is sure to be a real favourite after you eat here. We took the bus which dropped us off a short block from the restaurant and for a senior the bus is ONLY 40 cents!!!!!! We ordered ribs AND chicken and the food was excellent. It comes with your choice of many sides and... More

This was by far some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The pulled pork is delicious. The mac and cheese was a little peppery but so good. My daughter had the beans for one of her sides and they were delicious as well. You order before you sit down and get your own drinks. Very laid back and... More

The macaroni and cheese is so beautiful and dense. We walked to this restaurant from our hotel and definitely required the walk back. The food was great.

This restaurant is a good hike from the Quarter, literally!! We decided to walk from Bourbon and as it was a lovely/quiet/safe walk along Royal St, it was far! Thankfully the drinks were cold, the food AMAZING and the outdoor patio was a wonderful place to wait out a torrential downpour. Highly recommend the "a little pork, a little brisket... More
