I was staying just a few doors down from this place so could smell the delicious bbq from day one, could even see the outdoor rotisserie as we walked past (and were shown inside by a member of staff). The food is lovely, unfortunately they were out of ribs when we went but we had brisket and pulled pork with... More

The meats and sauce were to die for. It's one of those things that you say "i'll buy you your own, but you can't have any of mine." It's THAT kind of good. Had to try the ribs and they were amazing and some brisket that was perfect. Even the house sauce was just OH SO GOOD, it was spicy... More

This is my favorite BBC any place. It emphasizes he smoking and you apply the sauce. The ribs are absolutely tremendous. Suck through the bone and taste the snake. Pulled pork with the Carolina style sauce is quite a treat.

Like many we saw this on the Food Network show, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" so we had to try the restaurant. Plus even though New Orleans is known for creole and cajun food it is still the South and we always crave BBQ when we are anywhere near Texas where both my husband and I lived for many years. First,... More

Two days before our trip to New Olreans, my husband and I saw an episode of "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" featuring this place and knew we had to make it a destination. Immediately after checking into our NOLA hotel, we made the 2.3 mile walk to The Joint. And we're glad we did! Upon arrival, you have to order and... More

We found the Joint on Trip Advisor and couldn't wait to try it out! I love BBQ. We are not familiar with the area so decided to take a cab. Once we got in the cab we started to move away from the main area and into a neighborhood outside the French Quarter... DONT be alarmed by the looks, the... More

We had dinner during August 2014. We had brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken and sausages! Very very very good! A great dinner in a great place! Sides (cole slaw and mashed potatoes) good as well!

I love NO because its so different! We ordered our food and it was delivered to our table in a few minutes by a young and typical NO type of girl. My wife says "Do you think she looked in the mirror and said "Now that's a good work outfit" and then headed out the door?". She was wearing a... More

Can't wait to go again. The food is consistently delicious and the service great. We love pulled pork and theirs is some of the best we have ever enjoyed.

The Joint was recommended to us by some locals. Having travelled down from Vicksburg, through Natchez I was a little over ribs but having only just arrived and a little clueless we decided to give it a go. I'm glad we did. Trying to be as healthy as it is possible in a BBQ restaurant, my wife and I had... More
