Was advised to go here by our B&B owner on a Saturday night. Luckily we got there at 7:30pm cause by 8:00pm they were out of the ribs since it was French Quarter Fest. Had the half rack of ribs and 1 side. They have the juiciest, meatiest ribs I ever had by far. Done medium rear and hardly any... More

Once again this place didn't disapoint. My food this time was even better than last year. The only thing just a personal preference but the potato salad needs to be a hint sweeter with more seasonings like down home, other than that no complaints, I still ate it though.

I used to live in the Bywater, so this was my favorite go-to spot. The Joint has awesome food- great pulled pork and great brisket. (I recommend getting the Plate.) It's the perfect spot for a group of 4 or 5 friends. If your group is much larger do not be surprised if it's difficult to find tables together since... More

When my wife and I returned to New Orleans we looked forward to another dinner of BBQ at The Joint. Our visits the last two years reinforced putting The Joint on the "must do" list for this visit. Now being very familiar with the restaurant, we drove out from the French Quarter on Royal to Mazant, and pulled up to... More

The Joint is a BBQ place that you will never find if you're not looking. You would also never stop if you were just driving by. It's well outside of the typical tourist areas of New Orleans. If you like BBQ, however, its worth the trip. The food, both meat and sides, were very good. The meat was smoked on... More

I waited quite a while for my BBQ, I tried to call ahead to order it, but they didn't pick up the phone. The food made up for the wait. Eat the ribs.

We took the 88 bus and then walked about a quarter mile down to The Joint. We knew we were close because of the smell of the smokers. Oh, it was the sweetest smell! We had ribs, pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and key lime pie. The meats and the beans were really amazing! The mac and cheese... More

This was a wonderful hole in the wall BBQ Joint. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. I was not a big fan of their bbq sauces but the meat was so well cooked and flavor you didn't really need the sauce. The bartender also provided great local drink recommendations and made a good drink.

Very good food. Small seating area so it was a little packed but well worth the wait!! Area of town was a little questionable with kids but again I would go back!!

Seriously, try everything! Off the beaten past of Bourbon so it is less touristy and is amazing! The prices are great and the restaurant has a great vibe with a bar (of course).
