My husband and I walked 2 miles to get there and it was worth it. The pulled pork was delicious and the ribs were so tender. I loved the different sauces and the house cocktails were excellent.

We ordered food for 8 people to take out and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The Joint had our food order ready on time and even carried it to the car for us. This place has fantastic ribs and pulled pork, smoked just right and tender without being mushy. The sides are equally... More

We came on a whim, and we're blown away. The brisket was our group of 4's favorite. The beans are unreal, and the mac and cheese was pretty solid. Great atmosphere with a bar and a Rose special (BBQ and Rose, yes please!). Get out of the French Quarter for a solid meal. Warning you will be completely stuffed after... More

I read all of the reviews of The Joint and decided to give it a try. This place is fantastic. The brisket was perfect as were the ribs with the meat falling off of the bones. The Mac and Cheese was that good old gooey cheesy stuff that tastes great and the beans were awesome. The only thing that was... More

The neighborhood around the Joint is pretty worn. The place is nothing fancy, but it has a original, funky vibe. he bar-b-q is tremendous. I hear the ribs are awesome. Pulled pork and brisket are very tasty. Sit outside out back and enjoy the fresh air while you eat. They have a full bar with a decentsection of beer to... More

This is a go-to place for lunch when in downtown NO or Bywater, food consistently & sometimes surprisingly elevated over expectations, especially the "special" sides of smoked grits or collard greens. We split the 2-meat platter with 2 sides - such a bargain for my guy & I and more food than can be consumed. Sit at the bar instead... More

We ate here for lunch. We actually walked 1 1/2 miles to get here as the bus service was horrible and the bus we were going to take never came. There was already a line before they even opened and it was worth the walk and the wait. I had the 3 meat dinner with pulled pork, sliced brisket, and... More
