My daughter took me to this little corner place for BBQ. Although the building looks a little quirky, don't be put off. The BBQ is amazing and the prices aren't exorbitant. You can eat in or in the garden or take away. Locals eat there and it is defo worth the trip.

We took the bus from the FQ out to the Bywater for a meal at the Joint. Because we had a Jazzy Pass that we'd been using all day, this seemed like the best way to travel and it was a snap. The driver didn't know all the cross streets so we had to yell "stop" whwn we realized that... More

You can tell this place is a treat and enjoyed by many locals. Good food, great price, friendly staff. Small bar inside (seats 6) and small dinning area (prob seats 25). BBQ pork, chicken, beef... good slaw and potato salad... even has homemade sweet tea and lemonade. Definitely recommend hitting up this treat.

If you are looking for some real good BBQ and don't mind going a little of the normal beaten path road, I Definitely recommend checking this place out. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. And the BBQ sauce was the best I've had!

We went to The Joint as part of a culinary bike tour (see my review for Confederacy of Cruisers). These were among the best ribs we've ever eaten! Unfortunately because were were part of the tour we only had the ribs, coleslaw and mac n' cheese, but everything else that was coming out of the kitchen looked delicious! The ribs... More

Based on online reviews we ventured to the Joint. We passed through what looked to be questionable neighborhoods but they weren't. The charismatic appearance is fun and the interior matches. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious. I had pulled pork and enjoyed every bite.

We had done research on The Joint online so I was expecting something wonderful. My mouth was watering days before the trip to Nawlins and I made sure that The Joint was a must on our eating tour. It's located in an interesting neighborhood and I'm glad that we took a cab. It's small and on the crowded side, so... More

Answer - take a short cab ride to "The Joint" in the Bywater area.. The dry rub ribs are by far the best my hubby and I have ever had !! You will not be disappointed and it will be our first stop next time in NOLA so we can eat there more than once. On the first bite, our... More

I LOVE this place. Thankfully, the colorful exterior of the building drew me inside, where I grubbed on some incredible BBQ. The delicious ribs fall apart as you eat them. Their sliced brisket is exactly how I like it - smokey, thin, blackened edges, FULL of flavor, without too much fat. The chopped meat is good, but I'd skip the... More
