Thanks for the meat!

Get their earlier rather than popping in later, once stuff is gone, it's gone and you'll be sad you missed it. We showed up hungry with a group of friends and at the end my hunger was eaten into submission. The line can get long, but it is worth it. I had the ribs, pulled pork and the sausage... read more

Heard about The Joint by scrolling through the DDD site and decided to give it a try while in The Big Easy. It is located off the beaten track and more than a walk from the French Quarter but definitely worth the drive. We each had the "W" which is a 3 item platter so we had 2 ribs, brisket... More

Now realize I'm not a bbq person but this place was perfect in every way-food, atmosphere & only place where this sweet tea lover was able to sip her drink of choice:)

Off of the way, eclectic, excellent BBQ - we're back for the fourth year in a row. I won't again go into how good and inexpensive the food is at the Joint. But I'll re-iterate: this is where the locals go for BBQ in New Orleans. We were here on March 30 this year and that led me to wondering... More

The Joint's pulled pork sandwiches are delish - juicy with just the right amount of smoke and spice. The tangy Coleslaw is good too - very fresh tasting with not too much mayo. They ran out of ribs for the day while we were in line, which probably means they are pretty good too! I Seating is at picnic tables.... More

We were at a conference and were looking for a BBQ place. I looked on Trip Advisor and found this gem. It was small but crowded and the food was good! The food was reasonably priced and the service and atmosphere were fantastic. We met a few new people while standing in line. The restaurant is off the beaten path... More

I had the ribs and brisket. Both were very tender and delicious. The amount of smoke flavor was perfect. I don't like the smoke to linger in my mouth and it did not. I will definitely go back.

Smoked Corn & Grits are fabulous!. Meat is very tender and flavorful. I would give 5 stars if the meat had smoked flavor. The sausage is awesome as are ribs. Potato salad ok. Mavc and Cheese worth trying. Enjoyed the food but found staff to be less friendly than we expected. I think they are accustomed to locals who know... More

My son just got out of the Army & went straight to the Joint. Beef & pork were as good as I've ever had & they have a small courtyard where we could visit.

Several guys and I travel annually each spring to a destination city for ribs, sides, and beer. NOLA this spring. Ribs at The Joint were among the best, if not the best, ribs we've had over the years. I thought Oklahoma Joe's gas station's in Kansas City were the best. The Joint's are even better.
