The main draw here is the fresh juice here and for a reason! We had pineapple, mango, orange juice and it was delicious. I got the bananas foster french toast and it was divine. My husband got the corned beef and hash and he said it was the best he's ever had. Our server wasn't overly friendly, but attentive (which... More

Wife wanted great cheese grits. Found this place online and it seemed like it would deliver what she desired. We arrived and it's basically an old Victorian home converted. Went inside and got on wait list then went back outside to stand with the rest of the waiting people. Wait was about 15 minutes but I heard some people say... More

This was our first stop after arriving in New Orleans as we hurried there for breakfast/lunch. We had loved this place when we were there last year. I decided on the crab melt sandwich-the bread is really delicious and the crab was spicy-I really liked it-its served with potato salad which seemed a little heavy with it. My husband went... More

Went on a weekday morning at opening. Interesting menu. Grits were wonderful. Juice was excellent. Coffee was ok. The food was good, but not something I would wait in line for.

I didn't know this restaurant until one of staffs at the hostel I stayed recommended me to try food here. Walking into the restaurant, I could smell the fresh bread and coffee. The waitress said hi and took me to a table. She helped me a lot... Yes I asked her to choose one dish for my brunch too, and... More

We eat here regularly, sometimes twice a weekend. The food is fresh and flavourful. The staff is friendly. Hints for eating here....don't come with more than 4 people at busy times, there's often a wait which is outside so think ahead in bad weather, they won't sell you coffee to go while you wait outside, and they only take cash.... Wow! I can't begin to express how happy I am that we found this spot. Since there are so many amazing restaurants in New Orleans it can be hard to decide on a few select locations. For all of the vegetarians and vegans out there this is the perfect spot for you! They offer delicious fresh juices, I personally ordered... More

Stopped in bc of DDD show. We will definitely return! Very hipster vibe on the surface but very soulful food. Pain Perdu is to die for!

Surrey's Juice Bar is a wonderful restaurant in a charming old building on Magazine. Tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. The bagel with lox, juevos rancheros with lox, the pecan pancake (omg). This place was great!

I had the crabmeat omelette stuffed with brie and avocado and husband had the bananas foster french toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked and the crabmeat sauce was very fresh and not overwhelming. The bananas foster french toast is amazing - not too sweet. The bread is what really makes the difference in this french toast. The fresh juice is... More
