Sure, you may have to wait a few minutes to sit down, but if you want a genuine dining experience, Surrey's always makes us smile. The Cuban sandwich was as good as anywhere. Where else can you get freshly squeezed Satsuma juice!!

Surreys is a small local restaurant that I go to every time I am in Nola. Food is always fresh and hot. Love their creamy grits. Good coffee. Good eggs. A pleasure to sit outside too Overall a great little place

The fresh squeezed juice was incredible--both orange and apple were awesome. The place was unqiue, artsy and cool. Great spot to go out of the busy areas. Not a huge place--go early if you have a group.

I would fly all the way back to NOLA just for brunch. The migos platter was amazing as well as the French toast. Fresh pressed juice on the money. come with cash no cards can say amazing again

This place would have received a much higher rating from me if it weren't for the poor customer service we received. For starters, when the waiter came to take our orders, I asked him if it was possible for the check to be split, for there were three of us. This required a simple "yes" or "no" answer. However, the... More

I had the Creole Shrimp and avocado omelet with fresh squeezed orange juice. My meal came complete with a warm homemade biscuit. The food was perfect but the service was a little robotic. The staff was so busy they rarely made eye contact but in fairness they were busy.

We went to Surrey's for breakfast after seeing them in Guy Fieri's Diners show. It didn't disappoint us. Great food and service but be willing to wait since the place is small. Great waiters.

The food is amazing! Its CASH only but it has the most amazing food. Fresh squeezed juices, vegan options, healthy choices, and divine indulgences! Great ambiance nestled in the middle of a neighborhood its very relaxed you get the real feel of New Orleans.

What can I say about the best French toast I've ever had? It has ruined me forever! How can I eat another without critical comparison to this scrumptious fare?! On our recent trip to NOLA, we ate here twice for breakfast. First day, I had the pain perdu. Second day, the banana's foster French toast. Both were yummy, but the... More

The main draw here is the fresh juice here and for a reason! We had pineapple, mango, orange juice and it was delicious. I got the bananas foster french toast and it was divine. My husband got the corned beef and hash and he said it was the best he's ever had. Our server wasn't overly friendly, but attentive (which... More
