Pretty good. Maybe not the best.

Like the thin crunchy crust. Took awhile, even for fresh pizza. They were not super busy. Prices are fair. We had pizza, 2 wsters, beer for about $25 total. Agree the help could be friendlier and some music might be a nice touch too. We jumped off the streetcar on the way to City Park and... read more

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we went out of our way to get there and it was well worth it. My husband & I started with some garlic and mozzarella breadsticks and had a large Eccentric Pizza. It was loaded with toppings and soooo delicious! We had to take half of it to go. We both drank... OMGosh! Best pizza I've ever had. Great crispy, thin crust and no skimping on the toppings! My daughter did a half and half and it was perfect.

Excellent pizza in a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Large Local Pro and it was truly one of the best pizza's I've ever had. Couple the pizza with some beer and it can't get much better than that. I did see some people with salad and that looked awesome as well. I would frequent this place a lot if I... More

I have eaten at a lot of pizza places in New Orleans over the years and Theo's is my favorite! I prefer a thinner, crunchier crust and Theo's has the best out there. Their "hippy" pizza is great for veggie lovers, but my favorite is the "Big Dave’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza." It has just the right amount of heat and... More

Theo's pizza never disappoints - it's always very, very good. If you can score one of the two table outside - it's a great place to enjoy a night in the neighborhood and watch the people stroll by. Service is always very friendly.

Went to Theo's for lunch for the 1st time. Ordered Marilynn's Pizza, the place was dark and cozy. Worth a wait for the pizza, excellent amount of ingredients. Tasty and adequate amount. Finished it all..........Will return..

The entire place is run by young people in there mid 20's the customer service was awful. No one was friendly. The food was ok. Nothing great, mostly frozen dough and appetizers. Nothing was freshly made. The pizza was a thin crust which was ok and the pizza sauce is actually spaghetti sauce. This was my first and last visit.

I had heard a lot about Theo's Pizza and had seen the "Theo's Pizza Truck" around town so I thought I would try it out. Theo's has three locations - I went to the Elmwood location. Overall, the pizza was decent but not great and I could say the same for the customer service which was alright but could've been... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
